The restaurant itself was a nice space, & the staff were warm & helpful & prompt.
The food, however, was very underwhelming for the setting & the price. The quiche, other than the few pices of morel topping, tasted mediocre. The smoked halibut tasted like any store bought smoked fish, & was paired with a collection of sides, each of flavors & toppings that just didn't work (such as slices of apple topped with crushed pepper, & a poached heart of napa cabbage). The plating wasn't anything of beauty either, & of course the portion sizes were minuscule. On the plus side, the dessert was alright (would reommcend the nut cake), & at least the coffee was strong & hot.
I would pass this place as a chic spot for instagram photos & maybe a weekend morning memosa. As a place for food, I can't in honesty recommend this restaurant.
This is a great spot for a quick bite or a business lunch. They offer vegetarian options, & their pizzas are freshly made. 👍
Stumbled upon Café Parvis on a lazy Sunday morning & it immediately became my new favorite spot to start the weekend. The light flooding through the big windows at that hour makes the whole place feel warm & unhurried, exactly the kind of vibe you want before the city wakes up. I ordered the avocado toast & honestly it was one of the better versions I've had in Montreal, simple but done really well. If you're looking for a place to settle in with your laptop or just watch the square come alive, this is it.
The pizza was great as was the salad. The service was a little slower.
Good ambience, at the terrace outside it keeps a good temperature & staff is very friendly.
Food came delicious & well presented.
I love this place - tucked away in the downtown neighborhood, it has a charming atmosphere with lots of vining plants. The coffee is great!
I had the best pizza ever at this place. The ambiance is nice & the food is yummy. Highly recommeny
Ordered beetroot salad & it was good.. three stars.
The real issue, i was part of a group & visited them on 16-April, the guy who attended us was polite & guided me on the vegetarian options & helped me decide on a salad bowl which on the menu was priced $17, with no option for small or large, or price of large mentioned.
I was surprised when i received the bill which had the dish price as 22. & at no time i had ordered a grande bowl or even aware of the price.
Being part of a group i paid it quietly, but realised the server adds higher price alternatives without confirming, & it was not mentioned on menu as well… one star for service.
Beef tataki was unpleasant-tasting & plated badly, & octopus croquettes had minimal octopus, but pizza was very good! Pricey for the quality & amount of food.
Such a cute & aesthetic place with great food & drinks. Nothing to complain about, & the service was great!
