Le Café Paper Hill est un café-buvette qui offre une gamme de cafés certifiés, une cuisine locale et de saison à manger sur place ou à emporter, un apéro le soir et des livres/journaux en tout temps. Situé dans un édifice patrimonial, le lieu a déjà eu mille vies. Dans celle-ci, nous rendons hommage à l’histoire du quartier, connu autrefois pour ses nombreuses imprimeries et maisons d’éditions. Un mur entier y est donc dédié à notre collection d'œuvres imprimées. Venez déguster un espresso ou un roman, ou tout simplement tourner la page sur votre journée.

I love good priced quality coffee & they definitely have this here! The beans are usually light roasted or medium roasted with focus on quality taste!

In tough times like 2025 we need to support local businesses more than ever!

Paperhill Café (Montreal) is a unique, wonderful & welcoming place with a great vibe, delicious food, alcohol offerings, great coffees, & lots of care & attention by the owner & staff. Your barista leaves her station to play with a dog, which isn't even allowed indoors, only to go back behind the counter without washing her hands, to rush back with our plate only to blame the slow kitchen? Couldn't have asked for a worse first impression. But the bus boy was great, so bonus points for him. Salad & drinks were also pretty good.Voir plus

Finally got to try this place after seeing it promoted everywhere for months! I tried their vanilla iced latte. It wasn't too busy in the cafe around 2-3 PM, so I was able to find a place to sit (the upper level was mostly empty, but the ground level had a good amount of people working on their laptops). The latte was good, it tasted a bit like cereal milk more than vanilla & was on the milkier/weaker side, but I did still enjoy it! I'd like to come back to try their other iced drinks.Voir plus

I had such a great time here! Definitely elevated my Montreal stay. Everything was great! Can't see myself becoming a regular though.
I had a vegetarian mushroom toast & pink latte. I don't think there's any caffeine in the drink but it is very tasty, refreshing & just sweet enough. I'm so relieved that it's not too sweet. Not sure if I'd get it again (other than for aesthetics) but even if I did it would taste like a good sweet treat. The toast is also very tasty but nothing special enough where you wouldn't be able to make one yourself. I still enjoyed it & I'd recommend coming here to try it at least once.Voir plus

We came here to study for a few hours one afternoon, it's a great atmosphere & fairly quiet, the drinks are good but maybe on the pricey side. I like that they don't allow laptops 12-1pm & after 5pm, gives you time to take a break from studying! Would recommend :)Voir plus

I somehow paid $14.50 (including tip & tax) for an iced latte & a croissant. Ordered an iced latte & it was so sweet, I didn't ask for a vanilla latte or even to have any sweetener added. They kept opening the window & doors even though it was below 10C & customers got up themselves to close the doors since it was so cold inside. It's very pretty & a great place to study, but not worth the moneyVoir plus

Amazinggg coffee shop, I recently discovered this spot & was absolutely blown away :) They have an aesthetically pleasing, modern & cozy atmosphere with floor to ceiling windows, a projector playing movies & a small tree inside. The staff is lovely, the coffee is top-tier, the food is delicious (do yourself a favour & try the egg salad sandwich)! I'm on a mission to try everything on their menu.
It's one of the only coffee shops that closes late in the area (which I love), & it's so versatile! Perfect to relax & read a book (they have a library), study/work (lots of tables), or for an after work'5 à 7' (yes, they also have wineee)!
