Update:
stopped into Origine Café for breakfast & was seriously impressed. I had a cappuccino & a ham & cheese croissant-both were absolutely fabulous.
The cappuccino was easily the best I've had in a long time, & honestly the best I've had in Montreal. The croissant was fresh, flaky, & perfectly balanced.
The menu isn't huge, but that's clearly because they've mastered what they do serve. It's just around the corner from our hotel, & I'll definitely be coming back every morning.

Old review:
Had a great coffee & croissant here. Seriously one of the best croissants that I have had. Also had a breakfast wrap. The wrap was pretty good but nothing to rave about. The drip coffee was a little weak but still yummy. The service was very friendly.

Beautiful ambiance for a morning wake me up! Cafe & tea, with a cinnamon & chocolate croissant to start the day. The tea latte was a special blend offered that the owner made from home; absolutely wonderful tasting!

A definite must for trekking around Montreal!

Great little cafe with very fresh baked croissants, cinnamon buns & apple turnovers etc. Had a delicious London Fog & a lattée. Friendly service & great decor.

Très bon café! Ambiance plutôt décontractée, on se sens dans un petit cocoon à déguster notre café! Super service du barista! Pour le côté nourriture, pas beaucoup d'options mais j'ai bien apprécié le croissant au jambon & fromage chauffé.
