Niché en plein coeur de l'effervescent quartier du Mile-End, le Café Olimpico est très certainement l'un des secrets les mieux gardés de Montréal. Comme Montréal est une ville multiculturelle incroyable, ce café aux saveurs européennes y trouve grandement sa place. Fondé en 1970 par M. Rocco Furfaro, ce café dégageant une énergie et un charme incomparable a très certainement traversé les épreuves du temps et a su rassembler une grande variété de gens qui partage le même amour pour le bon café. En passant par l'homme d'affaires qui s'arrête pour son espresso quotidien le matin ou bien par l'étudiant qui y sirote un cappuccino l'après-midi, le Café Olimpico a fait ses preuves auprès de tous pour être un établissement où l'on y rencontre de bonnes et agréables personnes.

I had been familiar with Cafe Olimpico from other locations but I gotta say after a single visit to the Mile End location, it's certainly a step up. The service was both efficient & friendly despite it being quite crowded. The menu had plenty of variety from beverages to desserts & although I went only for a coffee, the desserts did look delicious. If you haven't tried a cafe crema before, that would easily be my first recommendation. The ambiance was great as well. There was plenty of space for seating (again, considering how crowded it was). There were also a few sporting matches across some multiple large screens & an even bigger projector. It was a pretty admirable viewing experience even though I didn't go specifically for those matches. I don't frequent the Mile End area due to the parking situation, however I would certainly visit Cafe Olimpico on any occasion I do end up in the area.Voir plus

I see why everyone's recommending this coffee shop & saying it's the best coffee in Montreal. I agree now! Their coffee has depth in taste & aroma. I hate sour tastes but olimpico's was so amazing. I enjoyed so much. Also the staff there was super friendly & helpful. I ended up ordering two cups of coffee- caffe mocha & cafe remix. Bought tiramisu & pistachio chocolate as well because the staff recommended 😂 Havent tried the tiramisu & chocolate yet but i can assure they are also all good since their coffee was excellent 💖 I would def come back again. The other two location was PACKED with ppl with endless long line ups. & the stores were so tiny & small. Especially the one near Mcgill univ one was just unbelievably small i didnt want to go inside. The seats were empty but it looked impossible to sit there & enjoy/relax. Go to the mid town one! We went to Quebec on vacation recently (from the US) & absolutely loved the way it felt like we were on a different continent. This place really exemplified that vibe - it felt very European!
