There aren't a lot of Moroccan restaurants in Montreal that offer hearty homemade food in a contemporary feel & design. This place made me feel like I was somewhere in Essaouira having tajine & drinking tea on a quiet street overlooking passerbys. I particularly like the fact it is a family business, where the owner & his mother take care of everything. They even accommodated my allergies & made sure to provide gluten free options when I couldn't eat couscous & bread. So very thoughtful. The setting is also cosy & the hospitality is real. If you are in Hochelaga neighborhood & crave Moroccan food or just a quiet place to sit & enjoy a mint tea while reading or contemplating the street, this is the place to be. I wish there were places like these near my neighborhood, it certainly deserves crossing the city for.

Absolutely delicious & authentic Moroccan food! 🇲🇦

The owner was incredibly kind & welcoming, & you can really tell the food is homemade & made with love. We had the chicken tagine, beef tagine, harira soup, harissa, & Moroccan mint tea, everything was delicious & the meat was great quality.

The service was so warm & friendly, & the whole experience felt very authentic. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Montreal. Highly recommend!

Ordered tajines, soup & some warm mint tea on a grey September afternoon. The food (jarret d’agneau & végé) was splendid, served with harissa straight from Morocco. We are so happy we stopped & we will make sure to come back!

Family-owned & run restaurant with the mother at the back prepping the meals by hand. I came here for an authentic moroccan culinary experience & I was not disappointed. From couscous, pickled olives, mint tea & any Moroccan delight you crave. I love the location & it felt like a bistro style moroccan shop restaurant.
