I don't recommend this place. The pastilla wasn't right, hard top dough, dry chicken, & I'm not even sure there were almonds. The sandwich was unevenly heated & had grated cheese. We kept hearing the microwave the whole time, which explains the quality. They also sell arancini & samosas despite being a Moroccan place, so overall it didn't feel authentic or well-prepared.

My friends & I were visiting Montréal & we decided to look for a Moroccan restaurant. Café Ô Tajine was highly rated so we came here. One of my friends is a pescatarian, but she had no problem finding something to eat on the menu. My friends ate vegetable samosas & the falafel sandwiches. The falafel sandwich was in a wrap & it was served grilled like a panini. I had a vegetable platter with potatoes, carrots, onions, peas & green olives over couscous. It was delicious. My friends loved the falafel wraps & the samosas. We would definitely eat here again if we visit Montreal again.
The place is very small with seating for maybe 12-14 people. The staff was very friendly & welcoming. They chatted with us & by the time we were ready to leave, we were all laughing & joking with the staff. If you live in the area or visiting from out of town & you are looking for a small Moroccan restaurant with a casual atmosphere, i would recommend that you try Café Ô Tajine.
A small place. If you do not know about it you would almost miss it. Did not have tanjine, takes longer to cook. Just a chicken sandwich. There is a choice of restaurants on this stretch of Rue Ontario. Moroccan is not easy to find in my city. The sandwich was fine, I would have liked more green vegetables. In retrospect , I should have picked something more Moroccan.
neat family owned restaurant with the most amazing moroccan food ive eaten in my life 🫡 had a merguez sandwich & soup they were both soooo good!! the sausage tasted delicious & had the perfect spice level the owner was also very nice & accommodating will definitely go back!!! :)
Beautiful little Moroccan restaurant & cafe! The chicken sandwich is incredible, as are the selection of desserts, but the real surprise was the mint tea -- absolutely delicious! The family running this place are also so sweet & kind & welcoming. Will definitely be back again soon!

J'avais vu le restaurant plusieurs fois & un ami m'en avait recommandé. Aussi, ma conjointe est allée une fois pour un sandwich & avait eu une bonne expérience. J'avais hâte de venir & décider d'inviter ma conjointe. Malheureusement, notre expérience a été terrible. Quand nous sommes arrivés, la table avec plus d'espace autour était sale avec de la sauce & même de morceaux d' aliments. Aussi, une des chaises avait un plateau avec une bouteille d'eau qui avait l'air d'être là depuis longtemps. Comme personne n'était venu pour prendre ma commande & nettoyer, je suis allé commander & a pris une table qu'était libéré. Ça a pris environ 30 minutes pour servir notre commande. La température des aliments n'était pas pareille. Il avait des ingrédients froids (niveau réfrigérateur) & d' autres avec température moyenne. Le goût était de qualité moyenne. Ma conjointe ne peut pas finir son plat à cause du goût & de la basse température. Donc, nous avons pris son plat pour emporter. Quand je suis allé à la caisse pour payer, ils m'ont facturé trois assiettes, au lieu de deux. Je m'en suis plaint & payé les deux commandes, avec les impôts, mais sans le service. Je ne vais jamais y aller.
Got a juice & some sandwiches (falafel wrap + chicken) w/ a friend (he got a latte). Food was really good, we tried each other's stuff & were happy with both. Forgot my water bottle & the owner had kept it in case I returned, he was super nice about it. Good time all around!
Cuisine vraiment super bonne, on a testé le couscous agneau, un sandwich & la salade marocaine. Pour avoir testé plusieurs couscous à Montréal, on est vraiment dans les tops! Le service est bon & on a envie d'essayer le reste de la carte 😉On a mangé sur place à la terrasse, donc aucune idée pourquoi la note Uber Eats est basse.

WOW WOW WOW WOW!!! Je suis passé ici pour acheter un lunch rapido-presto. J'ai commandé un sandwich aux merguez & une soupe marocaine aux lentilles, pois chiches & tomates. Moi qui ne trippe pas sur les pois chiches, j'ai trouvé la soupe délicieusement parfumée & incroyablement bonne. & leur sandwich merguez était délicieux. La saucisse était excellente avec de bons condiments comme des tomates & des olives vertes & une sauce épicée qui m'a surpris avec une bonne chaleur. Je vais devoir y retourner pour essayer leur couscous & tout le reste du menu en fait. C'était un vrai régal. Le meilleur lunch que j'ai mangé dans le quartier à date. Un vrai trésor comme restaurant.

J'adooooore y aller pour les tajines, les sandwichs & l'amabilité du propriétaire ! On sent vraiment qu'il met de l'amour dans ce qu'il fait, & chaque repas au Ô Tajine est un moment spécial. Il y a peu de places assises, donc la terrasse en été est toujours appréciée. Le rapport qualité-prix est un énorme plus; on en a pour notre argent. Portions généreuses, couscous/tajines faits avec les légumes du moment, & service aimable.
On a simplement adoré. Ça ne paie pas de mine directement mais pour manger sainement, de manière bien assaisonnée, fait maison & au prix très abordable, c'est l'endroit où il faut s'arrêter. On a pris les soupes, quelques amuse-bouche, des sandwichs (falafel, merguez), deux petits desserts, du thé à la menthe & on a été servis alors qu'il était déjà presque 15h... Tout était bien épicé & les desserts bien équilibrés (pas trop sucrés). On a été servis comme des rois & on a conseillé l'adresse à nos amis du Canada.
