The owner was quite rude during our service. As tourists visiting we wanted to try the best local coffee & bagels together. It is understandable if they did not want to allow outside food, but making this clear upfront when we ordered would have been helpful so I could order to go. Inside it looks like any other coffee shop that allows this.
Once this misunderstanding was identified the worker seemed to be in fear of the owner finding out. I understood why when the owner approached & asked me if I had a problem with him. I would recommend take out if you end up here.
I ordered an Americano & a pistachio croissant.
The staff were very friendly, & the atmosphere was warm & welcoming.
Both the croissant & the coffee were absolutely delicious.

I had the pistachio affogato at Novanta Café & it was absolutely delicious! The creamy gelato paired perfectly with the espresso, & the pistachio flavor added a delightful touch. A must-try for anyone who loves a refined coffee experience.
This is my favorite cafe in the city. They have fresh baked goods & delicious sandwiches everyday & the best coffee ☕ I've been able to find. I go as often as possible & would recommend it to anyone. It's run by two brothers & their mother from Italy & they have a small staff who are all very nice & the place is very clean & well managed. I have several dietary restrictions & they're very attentive about it. I've never had a bad experience & I look forward to many more visits.

The paninis are completely fire! They have a classic italien playlist making you feel like you are in Italien in the 90'. Thats just the realest italien coffee in Montreal.

I had an incredible experience at this café. The cappuccino was simply amazing-smooth with perfect consistency & a beautifully foamy top. The light dusting of chocolate was a nice touch that made it even better. The chocolate croissant was fresh & buttery, the perfect pairing with my coffee. I also loved the thoughtful gesture of being brought a glass of iced water alongside everything. One of the highlights was the unique & pleasant classical music playing inside. It really added to the cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Special shout-out to Alex, the nicest barista ever! Their service made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend stopping by!
I have spent 2 weeks in Montreal & had an amazing time. Found this local italian cafe near my accommodation & fell in love with the coffee & peach croissants, ps. Alex, the barista is really nice ;)

The best coffee shop in Montréal. The atmosphere is amazing, food is just perfect, stuff is very caring. You read that right, not just nice: caring. I'm a regular now.
