About

Café Noctis presents a delightful fusion of Middle Eastern flavors with an artisanal pastry selection, offering a unique culinary experience. Patrons can indulge in expertly crafted sweets and savory dishes that highlight the rich traditions of the region. The ambiance provides a welcoming space to savor these distinct tastes, whether enjoying a freshly baked croissant or a more elaborate Middle Eastern specialty. This establishment is a prime destination for those seeking authentic tastes and expertly prepared baked goods in a comfortable setting. It successfully bridges the gap between a traditional café and a purveyor of fine Middle Eastern cuisine.

Review Summary

Café Noctis is widely celebrated as a cozy, charming neighborhood spot on Wellington Street known for its relaxing atmosphere, unique aesthetic, and late-night availability. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the sense of community fostered through events like poetry readings and workshops. While the coffee, pistachio matcha, and various baked goods are often described as high-quality and delicious, reviews regarding food portions and pricing are mixed, with some customers finding certain items expensive or inconsistent. Although service is frequently praised as warm and professional, occasional reports of slow pacing and confusion exist. Overall, it is regarded as a perfect, soul-filled space for studying, working, or socializing.

Amazing people, always a nice vibe. Try their Espresso Tonic, it's a signature 😁❤?

The place is very cozy close to lunch. Good coffee & swift service. Would like to see the shows at some point.

Updated July18-2026 after seeing the response from the owner:
I encourage people to read other reviews to see that I am not teh only one.
Your response shows your lack of maturity & professionalism.
Your Pizza Carre had a smell of yeast. The girls we befriended sitting next to us tried it & said the same thing.

I will also encourage other to come see for themselves but instead of you giving them 30% off by showing you my review I am proposing something more fair: make them pay only if they are satisfied with it.

Original Review:
The mint tea was very bad. The Pizza Carre even though fresh from the oven, was horrible & had a taste of Sourdough, there was barely tomato paste on it.
Service was also very slow.
This was my first time.
I will not be go back.

Lovely old world, service. The food was exquisite & my chai latte was super. It's refreshing to come to a place that feels authentic & not just all about some cookie cutter Instagramability. The decor feels perfect for coming together, centred around conviviality. there's a beautiful huge Tess in the front perfect for people watching. A lovely Verdun gem; we will definitely be back!

Came here for coffee recently with a friend. The coffee was quite small (but still expensive) but nothing special. My friend did try one of their gluten free cookies (the pistachio one) & said it was good. Service was quite slow. They also don't have anywhere to leave dirty dishes & they seem to pile up on some of the tables. Decor & terrace are nice.
