I was happy to try Noctis Cafe & have a latte, only to find out that a plant-based milk latte is more expensive than an cow based milk latte. I can't have cow's milk. Very unfair to have to pay more for plant based milk. This is not customer focused. Fortunately, a few blocks away, there is Cafe Jardin on Wellington & Desmarchais, where plant based lattes are same price as cow's milk latte.
Been for coffee, tea & snacks as well as events. Very nice local spot with lovely owners & staff.
Tu vas adorer ❤?❤?❤?
Good coffee but the place is overall dingy
I understand the vintage vibe but the pale green walls are visibly dirty
The choice to add an enormous television playing teams sports also seems at odds with the vibe they were going for.
Unlikely to return
I took a cafe latte art lesson here. It's a really good introduction to go on a date or with friends.
Updating to 4.5 stars*****
Coming back they made changes. Its more open with the kitchen & makes it breathe more. The employee was much better this time around & the coffee also tasted better.------
First review:
First visit was a 3/5 The bagel was nice! I would go back & buy one. Same for baklava* /snacks.Nice spot, nice area 3.5/5Employee was nice, however he was bummed out that I didn't like the option he wanted me to try. Then joked about me paying having to pay for the initial drink that I wanted after I said I didn't really like whatever he offered me tk try --- which slightly annoyed me ---- besides that he was nice.
I did say' the sweetness level was perfect tho' & then the one after was bitter. So that kind of sucked I wish I had kept the one I didnt like as much because it was made with love, second one not so much.Again bagel was good, wait time for the bagel was long considering no one else ordered at the time of me placing my order :)))
Honestly, hands down the best cafe I had in Wellington Street. I've walked past it a few times but finally popped in this morning, & I'm so glad I did. The coffee was spot on not burnt like some other places nearby & the staff were genuinely friendly. It's got a really cozy vibe too. Definitely my new go-to spot. Highly recommend!
Visiting Noctis cafe is unforgettable experience of authentic & artisanal cuisine & atmosphere in general. The place changed a lot since opening, they DIY everything , changing all the time in deep search of best solution to create cosy home-like space, where you can rest, recover & feel comfortable like at home. Friendly baristas, desserts that are vegetarian, healthy & never boring. Also i want to put a fat accent on the coffee. Own roast &'one grain' strategy created mathematically achieved flavour that brings wood, chocolate, smoky & nutty notes but kept vibe of classic second wave coffee. That's definitely something that you should try when you visit! Shutout & appreciation to the Noctis cafe 🫶🏻
I love this place! I hope they last for a long time here! I only have had drinks here ( which were great), but it's not just about the drinks or food. The seating, the staff, the'feel' is really nice.
A super warm, easygoing café that instantly makes you feel welcome. Great coffee, kind people, & a cozy vibe that makes you want to linger just a bit longer.
