Review Summary

Across reviews, Café Myriade is described as a beloved Montreal spot for dependable coffee and a warm, cozy vibe. The drinks are consistently delicious, with notes of latte, mocha, chai and matcha and strong local roasts highlighted, while pastries such as croissants and muffins are frequently praised. The baristas are usually friendly and helpful, with recommendations that elevate the visit, though some readers note the cafe can feel crowded and small, especially on busy mornings or snowy days. The local neighborhood presence stands out, and staff are often described as welcoming, making regulars feel at home. A few critiques appear, including moments of rushed or less friendly service, language friction for francophone customers, limited or no wifi, and the challenge of seating when the space is full. Overall, Café Myriade emerges as one of the top coffee spots in Montreal, valued for quality drinks, tasty pastries, and a lively, student-friendly atmosphere.

A good local coffee shop. The coffee itself was fine, good but not outstanding. The pastries were nice though a touch dry. Overall if you're in the area it's a decent choice.

We came here every morning for the three days we were in town. The staff made us feel like we were regulars from ages. From the pastries to the drinks, everything was the best quality. They have a wonderful neighbourhood presence. Given some circumstances with the hotel we were staying at, my friend wanted to get pastries for the hotel staff. When the cafe staff found out, they contributed extra in consideration. A must stop visit if you're nearby.

Came here because they have gluten free options, but all the gluten free pastries are on the same trays & touching food with gluten :/ lemon ginger honey tea was lovely, the baristas were not very friendly.

Been getting their filter & I love it! Well priced. Their pastries are also good & reasonably priced - I recommend the cheese croissant. Super friendly staff & cute ambiance.

I come here everyday I really enjoy the coffee & the pastries (orange scone & almond croissants) they have the best croissants I tried in Montreal & the best Coffee. I enjoy sitting in the terasse every morning but I'm seriously finding it hard to keep coming because of the urine smell in the terasse. It's not pleasant to have a bite of croissant trying to savour it but smelling piss at the same time.

Consistently fast service, great coffee, excellent pastries from Hof Kelsten, & a nice terrasse. They always have fresh, hot filter coffee (you'll never have to wait for them to make a new pot--I don't know a single other cafe in Montreal that can guarantee this).

This cafe is great for people that finish the study in the Concordia University, office workers or just want to relax at the cafe. Even though it's located in the middle of the downtown & besides the Concordia University, but the coffee quality is good. The Latte is good & taste not burn. I tried their pastry sometimes, it's okay, but i would i would say it's better than the big chain cafe that sells pastries too. In the winter, this place will get smaller & less seats available, but in summer, there's plenty of seats available.

Outstanding coffee, very friendly staff, great pastries, amazing prices, nice space with indoor & outdoor seating available. It doesn't get much better than this.

For a warm & cozy place to socialize in small groups, this cafe is a good option. There are small tables inside & on the terrace, in good weather. It is less ideal as a workspace as the chairs are wooden & stiff with few power outlets available. The ambiance is comfortable & clean. Staff were friendly, upbeat, & efficient. The coffee menu is simple but has all the staples. The double espresso definitely did the trick & served in a super cute tiny takeaway cup. There are also various pastries as snacks, such as muffins, all of which appeared to be vegetarian.
