Across these reviews, Café L'Isola comes across as a warm, convivial spot with authentic Italian food and friendly staff that feel like family. The ingredients feel straight from Italy, the bread on sandwiches is praised as the best ever, and drinks are top notch, while the music you can control adds a playful touch and service is consistently welcoming. It is singled out as a favorite on the West Island and a standout in Montreal, a little known gem that many would like more people to discover. The kitchen is praised for knowing what it is doing, with quick lunches and strong coffee, and the takeout and dine in options keep guests coming back. Sandwiches and pizza receive high marks for crust and toppings, and the overall atmosphere is warm, inviting, and reliable. In short, Café L'Isola delivers great food, great vibes, and welcoming hospitality that earns repeat visits and loyal fans.
This is by far the best little known secret of ile bizard that should be all of Montreal's secret. From the food (the ingredients are straight out of Italia), to the owners to the chefs - divine. The bread they use for their sandwiches…the best I've ever had. The drinks - awesome. The music which you can control - ahhmazing. Without a doubt, my favourite resto in not just the West Island, but all of Montreal. Finally a restaurant that knows what they are doing.
Great spot for pizza, a drink, or coffee. Had the Jacques-Bizard pizza, which had a delicious crust & topped with capicollo, bacon, onions, pepperoni, mushrooms & mozzarella

Wow, la sandwich L'Isola, pain frais du jour avec que des aliments frais dedans, accompagné de frites fraîches & croustillantes, quelle belle trouvaille aujourd'hui. Love it! Fortement recommandé!👍😉
