Such a great local discovery! One of the best cafés in the area, in my opinion. The Onigiri is amazing, great portion, & like most people are saying, the matcha & hojicha lattes are hands-down the BEST I've ever had in the city. The staff is very sweet & friendly, & the space is filled with art, plays fantastic music (always great music choices!) & the bathrooms are always impeccably clean. Love that it's open later than most cafes in the area, too. Nice place to work or study & grab a tasty bite to eat at the same time! 10/10 ⭐Voir plus
Café le NIGIRIZ offers a delightful snacking experience with perfectly textured rice triangles, a variety of flavors, & affordable prices. The low-key, cozy atmosphere adds to its charm, while the miso soup & sides complement the Onigiris beautifully. Don't miss the ginger honey cookie-soft, flavorful, & absolutely irresistible!Voir plus
Absolutely delicious onigiris. I recommend le diable & ajitama with the egg in the middle.
Really cozy & quiet spot near the bustling St. Laurent Ave. I got a hojicha latte, which is one of the best ones I've had - highly recommend it! I also tried the tuna onigiri, which was a bit too much mayo for my taste, but still very tasty. Everything is decently priced & I look forward to trying the other onigiris next time.Voir plus
All the vibes of an authentic Japanese restaurant. Food is great (gotta like rice balls / onigiri). Definitely try it out if you feel like sitting down for a while. Voir plus
Cute Onigiri spot , the Umi & dry tomato onigiri are our fav. Hojicha is pretty good & their combos make it a somewhat accessible meal. I just wished they had more sitting spaces , as people with laptops take over the table spots for extended periods of time, leaving people who don't come to stall in stools by the corner.Voir plus
I LOVE this café!!! Their matcha & hojicha lattes are both insanely good (the best I've ever had!) & their onigiri are tasty, filling, & reasonably priced. The decor is gorgeous & the atmosphere is great. The owners & staff are always very nice & welcoming. I've told all of my friends about this place & I couldn't recommend them enough!Voir plus
With the winter months here, having space to sit & eat here is imperative. Unfortunately, that's not really an option because people are hogging the seats on their laptops. Also no decaf anything (tea or coffee) meant I couldn't get a warm drink here. Restricting weekend laptop use & adding decaf warm drinks would boost this business. I'd love to come back but don't see there being space for me.Voir plus
We really wanted to go here at 4:30pm on a Saturday after many hours of walking in the area for a bite & to warm up. Unfortunately 1) every single person in the cafe was on their laptop & there was nowhere to sit 2) they did not have one tea or beverage without caffeine. Too bad.Voir plus
I came in on a Saturday afternoon & the place is packed: with people on their laptops blocking all the space. They all have headphone on & typing away. It's like sitting in a computer lab.I wonder how many costumers leave because there is nowhere to sit. Staff was nice. Food was ok.Voir plus
Honestly such a great experience all around. Delicious & so well crafted. You can taste the quality in each menu item.Voir plus
What a cozy, serene feel once stepped into this Japanese cafe? Really no expect that this cafe's so cool. Their hojicha lattes made by Japanese themselves is really different than foreign hands, right? The hojicha here tastes really good.....rich aroma, creamy & smooth unlike I had been tasted so far. Even, their onigri shaped round is unique form to me....what a good combination Asian tea-times with an aesthetic atmosphere? 🥰🍵🍘🌬️Voir plus
