Having visited several continents and crossed their oceans, Café Lali is a blend that tells of my adventures around the world.
Throughout my travels, I've wandered the backstreets of Taiwan sipping their coffee, tasting real Japanese "Kawai" foam sculptures and enjoying the rhythmic atmosphere of Australian coffee shops.
Café Lali in Petite Bourgogne feels like a charming discovery, a bright calm space with a minimalist counter, charming shelves, warm wood tables, and a striking spiral staircase that gives the cafe real character. The room is quiet enough to relax, chat, or simply enjoy a carefully prepared coffee, with the macchiato described as balanced and smooth and the coffee in general taken seriously. A mortadella sandwich reads as fresh, generous, and flavorful, a simple cafe staple done just right. The whole experience hinges on a warm, effortless atmosphere and service, with staff described as welcoming, attentive, and professional, making the visit feel polished but genuinely kind. The combination of great products, a beautiful setting, and cozy energy makes Café Lali a welcome neighborhood addition and worth a visit, though some note the space can be a bit small and the echo can make conversations tricky when the place is busy.
Coffee is excellent, & nice selection of biscuits. I wish there were more lunch options (they just offer two types of wraps, which are delicious!) & I would go more often.

Nice, small cafe with lots of paintings & art pieces displayed like a small gallery. The cafe is really small. There is an upstairs but again really small. The coffee is good here though & the service is awesome. Also, they make their own chai concentrate in house. It's a bit watery for me & not as intense as I like my chai but it's an option for those that love chai as much as I do.
Nice calm cafe. I used to come here, but the combination of black flies in the mezzanine & witnessing uncomfortable, awkward interactions to get clients to leave after 1.5 hrs when the cafe was not full was welcoming when there are many top notch cafes around. I hope these will be (or have been) addressed to give Lali another shot!
The coffee, the cookies, the environment,10/10! All around great place to visit in the morning. The staff always has a huge smile on their faces & is super helpful (they speak both English & French). There is a cute landing at the top where you climb a spiral staircase. I sat up there & they delivered my coffee to me. The music was great & I comfortably read for some time. I will be visiting again!
Cafe Lali is a fantastic cafe with beautiful art, excellent service, & fair prices. Love that we can walk to the cafe & enjoy a latte by the window next to artwork. Highly recommend!
Petit café très sympathique offrant de jolies biscuit en plus sans gluten & leur café & délicieux. Les demoiselles sont sympathiques & le café est certes petit en même temps charmant & avec un joli clin d'oeil artistique
Best coffee place! The owner & staff are soooo kind! They are pet friendly & my dog Panetone is in love with the place too, always get treats. The coffee is really really good & the food too. The white chocolate & salt cookie is fenomenal & also de banana, oat & pistache. 10/10 coffee place!

Walked in there with my sister just by curiosity. Ended up getting s bunch of incredibly delicious pastries. So lovely with all the art & natural light, but the service was the best part. They went above & beyond to keep us some pastries aside as they were still preparing them & they were incredibly kind. These are the types of places I love to support & will definitely be a returning customer!
