Honestly one of the best cafes in the city. The staff here are incredibly nice & never make you feel rushed even when it gets busy. I really appreciate the chill vibe & the selection of music they play. It is a great place to sit for a while & just enjoy a quiet moment with a good book.

Café Lali in Petite-Bourgogne is exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble upon & then immediately want to keep for yourself. The space is beautiful without trying too hard: bright, calm, & warmly arranged, with a minimalist counter, charming shelves, lovely wood tables, & a striking spiral staircase that gives the café real character. There is a quietness to the room that makes it especially inviting-peaceful enough to relax, talk, or simply enjoy your coffee without feeling rushed.

I had a macchiato, & it was excellent: balanced, smooth, & clearly prepared with care. You can tell that coffee is taken seriously here. We also had the mortadella sandwich, & it was incredibly satisfying-fresh, generous, & full of flavor, the kind of simple-but-perfect café food that hits exactly the right note.

What really tied everything together was the atmosphere & service. The whole experience felt warm & effortless. The staff were welcoming, attentive, & professional, with that rare ability to make service feel both polished & genuinely kind. Café Lali has great products, a beautiful setting, & the kind of calm, cozy energy that makes you want to stay longer. A wonderful addition to the neighborhood, & absolutely worth a visit.

Walked in there with my sister just by curiosity. Ended up getting s bunch of incredibly delicious pastries. So lovely with all the art & natural light, but the service was the best part. They went above & beyond to keep us some pastries aside as they were still preparing them & they were incredibly kind. These are the types of places I love to support & will definitely be a returning customer!

My espresso & cookie were incredibly good. The service & atmosphere were as perfect as the food & that will be my place to visit again once I return to Montreal.
