Café Lali is much more than a cup of coffee...

Having visited several continents and crossed their oceans, Café Lali is a blend that tells of my adventures around the world.

Throughout my travels, I've wandered the backstreets of Taiwan sipping their coffee, tasting real Japanese "Kawai" foam sculptures and enjoying the rhythmic atmosphere of Australian coffee shops.

Review Summary
Café Lali is described as a cozy, small two level space with an artistic vibe that suits reading, relaxing, or working. The coffee is a frequent highlight, with the cortado praised for excellent balance and what seems like whole milk, and the espresso noted as very pleasant to drink; the pour over is described as fruity with a pleasant aroma and limited acidity, though some would prefer a slightly stronger profile. Service is consistently praised for friendliness and attentiveness, with staff described as kind and helpful. The ambience is warm and calm, with artful details and two floors that invite lingering or laptop time on the upper level. Some reviewers mention price as a consideration, noting the coffee can be pricey though many feel it is worth it for quality. The menu also stands out for gluten free and vegan options, a dog friendly policy, and a mix of comforting treats and baked goods. A few criticisms include iced chai lattes that lack flavor and occasional dishes that arrive cold or under seasoned. Overall, Café Lali comes across as a favorite Montreal spot for excellent coffee, a welcoming crew, and a cozy atmosphere, ideal for a quiet morning, a quick take out, or a productive visit.

Coffee is excellent, & nice selection of biscuits. I wish there were more lunch options (they just offer two types of wraps, which are delicious!) & I would go more often.
