They were playing 5sos so i was already sold… i was offered to pick between their two coffee grain, mild or corse, & i had a corse allongé it was delicious
What a lovely spot! Coffee & cookies were delicious, owner is very sweet & cares deeply about his business. Atmosphere 100/10, highly recommend, will be back! 🫶🏼

Fantastic find! Such a lovely atmosphere, & the service was excellent. I loved the cortado so much I ended up ordering two. This will definitely be our go-to morning coffee spot while we're in Montreal.
Cafe Lali is a hidden gem that deserves more attention. The coffee is rich & flavorful & the service is always efficient. I have visited several times now & have never had a bad experience. It is definitely my favorite place to grab a drink before heading to my office in the morning.

I stopped by Cafe Lali on a whim while walking through the neighborhood & I am so glad I did. The atmosphere is cozy & inviting which makes it a perfect spot to get some work done on my laptop. The coffee was excellent & the staff were very friendly & attentive throughout my visit.
I love this cafe my friend introduced it to me & I've always wanted to come back. The coffee itself is so good, I got an iced latte with honey & they put a good amount of ice, milk & espresso, I could still taste the delicious coffee flavor. I also got a dark chocolate chip cookie, it was rlly delicious crispy & chewy & paired perfectly with the iced latte!! The barista was also super kind & sweet, thank you!!
Café Lali in Petite-Bourgogne is exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble upon & then immediately want to keep for yourself. The space is beautiful without trying too hard: bright, calm, & warmly arranged, with a minimalist counter, charming shelves, lovely wood tables, & a striking spiral staircase that gives the café real character. There is a quietness to the room that makes it especially inviting-peaceful enough to relax, talk, or simply enjoy your coffee without feeling rushed.
I had a macchiato, & it was excellent: balanced, smooth, & clearly prepared with care. You can tell that coffee is taken seriously here. We also had the mortadella sandwich, & it was incredibly satisfying-fresh, generous, & full of flavor, the kind of simple-but-perfect café food that hits exactly the right note.
What really tied everything together was the atmosphere & service. The whole experience felt warm & effortless. The staff were welcoming, attentive, & professional, with that rare ability to make service feel both polished & genuinely kind. Café Lali has great products, a beautiful setting, & the kind of calm, cozy energy that makes you want to stay longer. A wonderful addition to the neighborhood, & absolutely worth a visit.
