I was so excited to try this new location & it did not disappoint at all! From the moment we walked in, the service was great, the staff is always so genuinely welcoming at Gentile's. & as usual, the food was amazing! We had the STK wrap (10/10), the charred up pizza (9/10) & the lasagna parlour (8.5/10).
Also love EVERYTHING the design team is doing over there from the packaging to the merch to the restaurant layout.
The pizza is here is excellent. The ingredients are fresh, & extremely well prepared. The service is also impeccable. While on the pricey side, I would say that it is worth your money. This is my favorite pizza in the city.
So we were at Gentile West Island yesterday evening with a group of about twenty. For most of us it was the first time at the West Island location. We are big fans of the other two already. This place gets a 5 star rating on all counts. We had a variety of appetizers (they kept coming) that were excellent. The main meal (veal sacalopinni limone) was fantastic. The variety of desserts were also great. Now lets add an amazing ambiance (imagine this was a week day), an amazing decor, the service is excellent (Bella is great) & the host, owner Anthony Gentile is great. Add to this: ample & free parking. Don't take my word on this, check it out yourself. I would make reservations!

It was meh meaning horrible... nothing special about this place. I can hear the kitchen staff screaming at each other loll.. seems like a jungle. I'd say the worst place I've ever had to come in for lunch. First & last time ever. 0 rating if there was an option.
Went for dinner. The portion sizes for the price they charge is outrageous. 2 tiny meatballs (think ikea size meatballs) for 16$ is theft in my opinion. We were 6 people, not one of us left happy or satisfied. We left hungry. The service, honestly I really felt bad for the sweet boy that was serving us. He obviously had no experience & he was out of his element. I don't blame the server, even though he lost our order on the way to place the order & came back 15 minutes later to admit his mistake & retake our order. That being said not one member of the staff looked older than 19-21 years old. If you are going to charge upscale prices, please put food on the plates & hire people with experience who can at the very least explain the nightly specials. We go very often to the West Island for dinner with friends, this is the first time I leave a restaurant & feel so disappointed that I'm writing a review.
