I had the sweetest & most warm experience at Cafe Cose. We were visiting out of town, & really wanted to try this place. However, we arrived 5 minutes after closing. One of the employees, Joseph, could tell our excitement to try this place & so kindly offered to make our drink despite technically being closed.
In regards to the drink, it was quite literally the best banana matcha I've ever had. The matcha quality was fantastic! Definitely will be visiting again.
I loveee their iced banana matcha!! Their seasonal drinks are something to look forward to. Still dreaming about the carrot cake matcha they had a couple months ago😛 100% recommend

I've had & (loved) the Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk here before, so I ordered two today & clearly explained the drink to the barista to be sure it was the drink I was wanting to show my friend. Unfortunately, what we received was very different from what I've had in the past. When I asked about it, he told me it was because he had stirred the condensed milk directly into the to-go cup. To his credit, the barista did remake the drink the way I originally requested, & it was delicious.
What made the experience very uncomfortable was because there was a long line, I had to briefly step forward to fix the order, & the person at the front of the line was understandably frustrated. While I was standing there, I overheard the barista tell that customer that if he were in his position, he would have'lost it' on me.
That comment was really disappointing, rude & embarrassing to hear as a customer who was simply trying to correct a drink that had been made differently than ordered. It made me feel judged & unwelcome.
I'm sharing this because I genuinely like your coffee & felt part of the community & have had positive experiences before, but hospitality & professionalism in moments like this matter just as much as the quality of the drink, & I don't think I will be visiting here again.
limited seats but nice spot w good drinks. i liked the cafe cosé (egg coffee) most, & the sea salt earl grey matcha was rly good too :) can choose hot or iced for all of these

We tried the banana iced latte & the earl grey matcha. I've tested many coffee places in Montreal, & this place is absolutely amazing. The mood of the employees is awesome, & the flavours of the drinks is matching our highest expectations. Could not recommend more!
A trendy cafe that is worth the hype. Their banana matcha is such a perfect drink. It's sweet but not too sweet, very delicate, & tastes exactly like banana bread. The earl grey salted matcha is comforting & flavourful (can't taste the salt too much but that's ok).
Seating is quite limited so this is a grab & go place for sure. It's quickly become one of my favourites!
My go to is to get a matcha here & grab a sandwich from clarks to pair it with.
Food is simple & really good. I drink matcha since 4 years now & the cafe has GOOD matcha, he always puts effort into finding different taste for it, & the staff is always nice !!

Cute & cozy spot ! They have a nice sweet selection & the seasonal drink Caramalized Banana Latte is INSANELY GOOD ! Can't get enough of it, a must try 😉
Café Cose has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the city. The vibe is effortlessly cool-bright, welcoming, & always buzzing with energy.
Yes, the line can be a bit of a wait, especially during peak hours, but it's for good reason.
The coffee is excellent-smooth, consistent, & clearly crafted with care. But the matcha? Easily the best in the city. Perfectly balanced, earthy without being bitter, & made right every time.
If you're into good drinks & great atmosphere (& don't mind waiting a little), Café Cose is a must.
Amazing service! Staff is really doing their best when there are a lot of customers, which makes it a great experience. Spot appears trendy, but I think their drinks are really good & innovative :) Will be coming back even when the trend dies down for sure!

This spot was on my'must-try coffee list of Montreal', & I think I've just unlocked a new craving, their iced sea salt earl grey matcha was to die for. Now I have to come back to try the rest of the menu because everything looked absolutely delicious.
The Vietnamese fusion drink concept is so unique & well-executed, the flavors blend perfectly. The café itself is quite small, so I recommend coming early if you want to grab a seat.
One of the highlights was definitely the staff, the baristas & owners were incredibly friendly & welcoming. The vibe inside was just amazing. You could tell this place has a loyal crowd; people were chatting with one another like regulars, & the whole atmosphere felt warm & inviting.
Huge kudos to the team, this place is truly a gem. Keep up the amazing work!
Here's my honest review. I had the sea salt earl grey matcha latte. It was a very sweet drink. Basically sugar & milk. The Matcha taste was lost in the sweetness. If you are looking for a matcha drink I can't recommend this. I would say the taste is more of an earl grey latte rather than earl grey matcha latte thats how lost the matcha taste was. Probably less syrup, & less water when whisking the matcha. Make a koicha so it is stronger, I want to still be able to taste the nuttiness or the astringency rather than sweetened milk.
I tried their'Matcha Cosé' (iced) & really enjoyed it! The creme top they add definitely takes a while to mix in to the drink & it makes it very sweet (so if you don't love a super sweet matcha, I would recommend trying something else), but I really enjoyed it! Visited around 3-4 PM & was able to get a seat at a table (there are a few tables at booths along with some standalone tables & window seats). Would love to come back & try some of their other specialty drinks in the future!
I've been here a couple times & every time has been great, good service, good drinks & good food. I got the orange blossom matcha & it was honestly one of the best matcha's i've ever had. Could not recommend this place more
