Overall, Café Capybara is described as a cute, capybara themed cafe with a warm, family friendly vibe, a spacious back area for DIY crafts and workshops, and a diverse drinks menu that includes matcha varieties, guava flavors, pistachio coffee and other playful creations, with reviewers appreciating the ambience, the plushy merchandise, and the chance to design or make crafts; the place is often praised for friendly service and charm, though some note higher prices for craft supplies, limited seating, or longer waits when crowded, and occasional sweetness or quality swings in drinks; for many, it is a must visit especially for capybara lovers and kids, with reservations recommended for workshops and a reminder to plan ahead.
Had a great first impression of this café yesterday afternoon!
I tried the matcha à la goyave (spent around 7-8 dollars) which was a first for me, & it did not disappoint. My friend tried the matcha crème brûlée. They offer a wide variety of drinks, some of them I have never heard before, & everything on the menu looked worth trying, I would definitely go back to try the rest.
The space is cute, you can buy plushies there & I think there are also DIY activities/workshops available in the back, but I'm not sure if it's a walk-in or you need to reserve.
The coffee shop is located right in the heart of downtown, very close to Concordia.
Is it worth a visit? Yes

The coffee was a little bit sweet. Maybe they should add more coffee shot because I taste more the cream than the coffee. So I don't know if I was paying for the creme brûlée or the coffee?
Nice coffee in a cozy atmosphere while we waited for our daughter & her friend doing a creative activity at the Tututu Space. The Capybara items are so cute! We couldn't leave without one!
Such a lovely café! The atmosphere is cozy & charming, with great coffee & wonderful service. It's the perfect spot to relax & enjoy a peaceful moment.Highly recommend!🥰
The coffees are so delicious, rich & the flavours are so distinct from eachother which makes it so much easier to try new drinks every time you're here , the staff is so sweet & it's overall a really cute spot!
I've been passing by this café for a while & a friend finally recommended it to us, so we decided to check it out. I got the Seoul coffee & it was delicious. The place is really cute with capybara plushies everywhere. There's a big crafting area in the back & I wasn't sure if we could sit there, but overall it's such a nice little spot to grab a drink:)
