Quelle belle trouvaille sur la rue Sainte-Catherine! Je suis tombé par hasard sur cet endroit & j'ai été immédiatement charmé par l'ambiance.

C'est l'endroit parfait pour une pause rafraîchissante. La décoration est adorable, avec cette grosse peluche de capybara qui accueille les clients. C'est vraiment unique & ça met de bonne humeur dès l'arrivée.

Les boissons sont délicieuses & préparées avec soin. Je reviendrai sans aucun doute pour tester le reste de la carte lors de ma prochaine balade au centre-ville.

It was my first time visiting this café, & I absolutely loved the capybara-themed atmosphere-it's incredibly cute & cozy! I honestly came for the theme, but the drinks were an even bigger surprise. The coffee was much better than I expected. I ordered the Black Sesame Viennois & the Oreo Taro Milk, & both were delicious. Definitely a place I'll come back to!

I stumbled upon Cafe Capybara during a morning walk & was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their espresso. The staff is incredibly friendly & they really know their coffee beans. The atmosphere is calm & perfect for getting some work done on a laptop without too much noise interference.

Ça faisait longtemps que je passais devant & je m'étais toujours dit que je prendrais le temps de m'arrêter. C'est chose faite & malheureusement ce sera la seule fois. Je n'ai peut être pas fait le bon choix de boisson mais c'était fade & sans goût. & cher. J'imagine que ca vaut la peine si on veut des plushies capybara. L'ambiance si on veut rester fait dur pour vrai. Il y a des boîtes en cartons vides qui trainent par terre, les murs sont dans un état assez constrenant. Bref, j'avais de la hype mais je n'en ai plus.

The service was the bare minimum. My friend & I walked in 5 min before the opening, so I told the cashier not to worry because we're not going to order anything until the opening time. Then, she made us feel unwelcome by staring at us & not saying anything so we left to eat lunch next door because they have no food on their menu anyways. If you don't want clients in the store before the opening time, why are the doors unlocked?
I ordered the pistachio bonbon à la noix de coco. I thought the drinks would be good since they have chosen to focus on that. It was basically cream drowned in coconut water with big chunks of pistachio on top. I paid 8$ for a large. I really did not like it, it was barely drinkable & the pistachio chunks would clog the straw. Since I didn't want to waste my money, I asked the employee for some kind of drizzle to drown out the taste. She had difficulty understanding what I was saying & responded by saying that the drizzles I could see on the counter were not for sale. Finally, I brought the drink home & mixed it myself with chocolate syrup. My friend ordered the milk & strawberries tea, which was better than mine but too strong & too sweet. Also, the music was a bit too loud for comfortable conversation.
They have a small but cute collection of capybara merch but it's nothing compared to the wide variety you can find at Miniso, right down the street.

Nice coffee in a cozy atmosphere while we waited for our daughter & her friend doing a creative activity at the Tututu Space. The Capybara items are so cute! We couldn't leave without one!
