Second time ordering these sandwiches & I can say they are in my top favorite sandwiches in North America. The Porchetta one is incredible & worth every penny, every bite was delicious. Bread is fresh, meat is tasty, perfect amount of everything & generous size! Highly recommend this place

Wow! 5 stars for the chicken cutlet sandwich. I didn't expect it to be that good. I ate half for lunch & half for dinner. Delicious. Highly recommend this Italian sandwich shop in the Plateau!
Unfortunately there was a line during lunch time, but it went by fairly quickly. Server was great because he was the one who recommended the poulet pane.

great sandwich spot, i tried the prosciutto one & it was good. the portions are huge so i would recommend getting the small size

Sandwiches are huge & delicious, drinks were good. Will be coming back to try other sandwiches & to enjoy the terrasse. I would recommend the spicy sausage sandwich out of the two we tried (charcuterie).

Been here for coffee multiple times & it's always been nice (iced americano, flat white with oat milk) & also recently tried a cheesecake (blueberry) all very nice ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cannot recommend the arancini (prosciutto) or hot sandwich (chicken parm) at all which is why this gets a three star overall. There is no flavour. The chicken was dry & overcooked. The sauce was bland. Both were unevenly warmed (microwaved?) & it was a very disappointing lunch in terms of taste, temperature & texture. Highlight was the bread used for the sandwich.
Will stick to the coffee & cheesecake options going forward.

The employees have all been friendly every time I've been here.
I'm not sure if it's a'me' problem, but I couldn't find the wifi password until an employee pointed it out on the back wall..! Not an issue, but just hard to spot.

The barista/cashier Cameron is so friendly & made the experience very nice. Just an overall really chill guy that is calm but memorable. Matches energy very well & always asks how you're doing before taking your order. Slows you down enough to enjoy your order by the time you get it. He deserves to be recognized! Go Cameron! Also very good cookies, sandwiches & drinks. Nice seating area, good place for catching up with friends or working with headphones on. 10/10 would recommend

Well executed executed sandwiches, did not taste anything else so cannot judge coffees or other food. Don't recommend going out of your way for the sandwich though , there are better spots in the city.

Was excited to try after being recommended by a friend. Ordered two sandwiches to go on the house made focaccia, two bottled drinks + tip which came out to about 44 bucks. We were told it would take about 15-20 minutes when it took closer to 30. *fair, it was midday on a Saturday so they were busy. However upon trying the sandwiches, the tomato sauce (I believe labeled signature sauce on their menu), was very bitter to the point that it completely ruined the sandwiches. The sauce almost tasted like there was soap in it, or like someone had used olive oil in the sauce that was extremely burnt. Unfortunately we could not finish our sandwiches which was disappointing because the bread was pretty good.

Les croissants aux pistaches du Café Americano sont exceptionnellement bons, & la qualité de la nourriture & du café y est vraiment excellente, Quant au décor, il est original, joli & chaleureux. Seul petit bémol : l'espresso allongé coûte plus cher que l'espresso court. C'est une pratique que j'ai vu à plusieurs endroits & qui n'est pas très honnête. Un expresso simple contenant une dose d'espresso peu importe sa longueur, le court & l'allongé devraient coûter le même prix; sinon, on se retrouve à payer pour de l'eau chaude.... Malgré ce petit point négatif, je recommanderais ce café sans hésiter.

Une des meilleures nouvelles adresses sur Mont-Royal depuis un (1) an.
Originalement lancé sous le nom « Lido », il a été renommé « Americano » 6 mois plus tard.
Ils offrent une belle variété de sandwichs sur mesure, pain frais, ingrédients toujours très frais & sauces originales.
Pour une première visite, je vous recommande le « viandes froides » avec son fromage frais & sa sauce au poivron.
Ils avaient une belle sélection de cannolis auparavant mais lors de notre dernière visite, ils ne semblent plus offrir?
Seul bémol, ils sont mal organisés en cuisine & la production est plutôt lente, quoique le résultat toujours impeccable.
Fortement recommandé.

Came for lunch, the sandwich was absolutely delicious. Came back for coffee & pastries, & they were equally as delicious. The owner is also very friendly. I definitely recommend it!
