Review Summary

Cadence Café is widely appreciated for its beautiful, cozy atmosphere and high quality coffee offerings, including notable flat whites, lattes, and matcha tonics. Many visitors enjoy the food selection, particularly the shio pan and egg salad, while the pleasant decor and music enhance the overall experience. Although most feedback highlights friendly and efficient service, some experiences mention inconsistent staff engagement. Despite minor critiques regarding specific menu items or service interactions, the majority of patrons consider it a delightful addition to the neighborhood and recommend it for its refreshing beverages and enjoyable environment.

Cute spot. Their salt bread was buttery & yummy. We prefered their hojicha latte over the matcha latte - you could not taste the matcha. Would be interested in trying other items from their menu next time

Unfortunately, the service was a bit disappointing during my visit today. The staff seemed more focused on chatting about their weekend than paying attention to customers. My shio pan order was forgotten, & after about 10 minutes, I noticed the server go to the kitchen to check on it, only to realize it hadn't been started. Thankfully, the chef prepared it right away. I also noticed another table whose shio pan order appeared to have been forgotten as well.

As for the food, I enjoyed the flavours of the shio pan. The corn rib topping was tasty, but the portion felt small - one piece wasn't quite enough, & a second would have made the dish feel more complete. There was also a bit too much sauce, which made the bread quite soggy by the time I was halfway through eating it.

Overall, the flavours were there, but both the service & execution could use some refinement.

great service. the place is beautiful & clean. i loved their egg salt bread & iced hojicha.

i also tried their anpan & its less buttery than the salt bread, a little more stiff? but i do love the red bead paste inside, its not dry at all!

would love to see them add a sweet variation of the shiopan.

The hojicha latte & iced latte were pretty good. The salt bread with egg salad was delicious & flavorful. The flan was ok. The chocolate croissant was buttery but the chocolate was almost non existant.

The inside has a nive vibe.

Walked by & spotted this gem. It was a nice reward after waiting to apply for a new passport honestly lol. Matcha latte was great, the roll cake was really delicious, the cream wasn't too sweet & it was the right amount. The Shio Pan was a highlight, haven't had one since my trip to Japan few years back & it brought me back. The eggs salad was missing something..maybe it needs a little kick? Either way, it was a nice pair up with the bread. Definitely will come back for the shio pan.

Good luck & all the best!
