The food was very good. My only critique was the portions for the Montreal a la Table were miniscule. The plate size was less than three inches for several of the dishes which was quite dissapointing.
Charmante petite buvette de quartier, ambiance chaleureuse & service attentionné, excellents cocktails & vins. Petites bouchées très bien exécutées, expérience à refaire absolument!
AVOID for Mtl a table... or dont come hungry.
First of all, the menu was slightly different than the one indicated on the website.
Second, as a lot of people mentioned, the portions were TINY. I thought it was an exaggeration but it wasnt. If you want a slightly better portion, choose the veggie options. The brussell sprouts, octopus, gambas & rice pudding were good. But you basically get less than 5 bites out of it.
We left hungry so we went & grab a burger from a fast-food joint.
I get that it is 35$ but I would much rather have 3 proper courses at that price than 4 TINY ones. Other restaurants in the 35$ were also decent so this was really not an excuse to skimp on the quantity.
Good customer service but the portions are TINY. Don't go for mtl à table. Don't get fooled by the likes on mtl à table website. The four services were the size of my palm & i have small hands... I left the restaurant hungry.
I would give it another chance in the future when the usual menu is back.
