Le service était vraiment top : souriant, attentionné, rien à redire. Mais côté cuisine, ça manquait un peu d'amour & de cohérence. On est venues pour Mtl à Table & les portions étaient minuscules, les saveurs pas très équilibrées, & il y avait du chorizo partout (même là où on ne l'attend pas !).
Je suis Espagnole, alors j'étais curieuse & j'espérais aimer, mais ça ne goûtait pas très authentique. Les drinks, par contre, sont excellents !
Un peu moins de plats, mais mieux travaillés, & ce serait vraiment une belle adresse.

points forts:
- excellent service
- super bons cocktails
- patates bravas pas chères & bien cuites avec une bonne sauce

points faibles:
- le reste de la bouffe était vraiment médiocre, je crois que c'est la pire bouffe que j'ai mangée dans une buvette depuis longtemps.
les choux de bruxelles goûtaient rien & les lentilles étaient tellement croquantes qu'on pensait y laisser une dent. y'avait une montagne de pois sur quelques mini morceaux de gravlax, le gravlax était tiède & ça fittait pas du tout ensemble.
- tous nos plats (saufs les patates) étaient garnis d'une tonne de roquette & de trois juliennes de radis. ça manque de variété, du point de vue du goût mais aussi visuellement.

au final tout me semblait assez pitché, ça manquait de cohésion. je retournerais pour un drink mais je n'y remangerais pas (sauf les patates).

Buvette Pompette offered a mixed experience. While the music was too loud for my liking & the food portions seemed small for the price, the staff was exceptional, providing friendly service. The drinks were decent, but the alcohol content felt a bit excessive.
