Buvette Nicole was divine. It was a weirdly slow night due to the weather so we had very attentive service from our fabulous waiter, Jordan. The food was outstanding from start to finish. No lie, when they suggest the Brussels sprouts, listen & order. So good.View more

Nous étions en ville pour le week-end & avons eu la chance de tomber sur ce bijou dès notre première soirée. L'expérience était si incroyable que nous sommes revenus le lendemain pour une nouvelle dégustation de plats exquis, de cocktails sublimes & d'une ambiance parfaite.
Ce qui rend cet endroit unique, c'est avant tout son équipe. Tracy, notre serveuse, a partagé avec nous de superbes histoires de voyage, rendant la soirée encore plus mémorable. Maïthé, la barmaid, est une véritable artiste-elle crée des cocktails sur mesure en fonction de vos envies, & chaque verre est une réussite absolue. Ses accords mets & vins subliment encore plus une cuisine déjà exceptionnelle.
En cuisine, c'est tout aussi impressionnant. Alex, le chef, est un véritable virtuose, & Nico, le sous-chef que nous avons rencontré la première soirée, nous a captivés par sa passion pour la gastronomie. Leur créativité & leur engagement transparaissent dans chaque assiette, & il est évident qu'ils insufflent cette même énergie à toute l'équipe.
Les plats ? Un régal. Les cocktails ? De haut niveau. L'ambiance ? Un parfait équilibre entre élégance & décontraction. On a l'impression de dîner dans un restaurant étoilé tout en profitant de la convivialité d'un bar de quartier branché.

If you're in Montreal & looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Nicole - Buvette de Quartier is an absolute must. We were in town for the weekend & luckily stumbled upon this gem on our first night. We loved it so much that we had to come back the next evening for another round of incredible food, cocktails, & vibes.
The staff here is what truly sets this place apart. Tracy, our waitress, shared wonderful travel stories with us, making the night even more enjoyable. Maïthé, the bartender, is a true artist-she crafted off-menu cocktails based solely on our descriptions, & every single one was a masterpiece. Her wine pairings elevated an already delicious meal to another level.
Then there's the kitchen team. Alex, the head chef, is a culinary genius, & Nico, the sous chef we met on our first night, blew us away with his passion for cooking. Their creativity & dedication shine through in every dish, & it's clear that they foster that same energy in their entire team.
The food? Phenomenal. The cocktails? Next-level. The atmosphere? The perfect balance between upscale & effortlessly cool. It feels like dining at a Michelin-star restaurant with the laid-back, inviting energy of your favorite neighborhood bar.

Super cute & chic spot in the Old Port. Staff was kind & helpful, & the perfect level of attentive for a solo diner with a book. They made sure I had everything I needed & then just left me to enjoy the experience. Delicious dishes for all three courses & a perfect wine pairing. Will be back!View more

Eh boboy! Belle endroit pour être sur les hautes m'as te dire! Je vous implore de réparer la porte qui est toujours ouverte. C'était une expérience unique de manger avec mon manteau d'hiver par contre ça c'est sure- ça faisait Igloofest 🤣75$ pour une fondue avec 3 tranches de charcuterie - plus décevant que ton ex. I wandered the streets of Montreal looking for a place to eat but nothing was grabbing my attention. I was about to return to my lodging when I stumbled upon this place & thought I would give it a try. What a fortuitous decision! I had one of the best meals of my life but more than that the conversation with Adam the bartender, Andrew the chef, & patrons that was so enjoyable, so engaging that I will absolutely come back the next time I'm in Montreal. I didn't have a main course but two appetizers, grilled octopus & foie gras which were heavenly. Then Andrew bought out the dessert in the photo I've included. If my life had ended right then & there it would be complete! I truly cannot recommend this charming place more highly! I know you will feel the same.View more

My husband & I stopped in after walking by & seeing the cheese fondue sign. I have visited Switzerland a few times & this was excellent. The wine availability to pair was wonderful too! I was a little worried after reading a negative review about the fondue but I am so glad we tried ourselves. I haven't had something so good since Switzerland. I'll def be back!View more

Une fondue désastreuse, des prix gonflés, jamais vu une fondue avec aussi peu de fromage. Une fine couche de fromage dans le fond de la marmite & ils appellent ça une fondue LOL! Ni bon ni chaleureux. Poulet à 40$ servi sans accompagnement. Aberrant ! Dans le quartier il y a mieux & de loin, je ne conseille vraiment pas !View more

Très belle découverte en ce samedi après-midi alors que nous cherchions un endroit pour prendre un bon café & une petite bouchée. Accueil super, bel ambiance, notre serveur Adam était tellement aimable. Un jeune grec qui est arrivé à Montréal au cours des 6 derniers mois & qui a rapidement appris le français. Le resto était plein & tant le café que la nourriture vraiment délicieux. On y retournera certainement. Merci encore Adam pour ton service impeccable & attentionné!View more

Just had the best French food at Nicole!. We stayed at St. Paul hotel & happened to pass this restaurant everyday during our trip in Montreal. We decided to go there for our last dinner in Montreal. It was incredible. I had what they called "winter chicken". Chicken was well seasoned & based sauce was amazing. They are such a hidden gem in the areas. Please please please give them a try. There is not many people talk about them on social media. But you will have a great time there. Great service. They were fast, fun, & very friendly. One little comment, I was gonna ordered their steak but I looked at our neighbors & it didn't look like a lots going on there. Enjoyed a NYE dinner here with a great friend. We enjoyed an appetizer 2 cocktails wine & two flank steak frites with roasted Brussels sprouts. The steak was very tough, & the au jus was salty, but otherwise the evening was superb. The waiter, Callum was great. The best experience dining we had in MTL this weekend.View more
