Love the food & had to come back after a few years. Couldn't stop remembering about it. The staff is super polite the food is great the atmosphere is def wonderful. I live in USA. & I get to Montreal at least 1 time a year or parts of Canadas East. The Burger bar is the 1 place I wanted to get back & have again but I'm glad I got to & bring my wife for her first try of real poutine. She loved it :-) will be back I'm hoping my next visitView more

Order anything with the mushrooms! So good that I picked them off my burger & ate them straight. Hey management: offer them as a side dish! Quebec burger a excellent (albeit expensive), as were the wings.View more

Had the Bison Super Cheddar burger. Phenomenal taste, gamey, but also sweet, the caramelized onion compliments the bison meat well. Only downside of the food is it ends :( definitely one of the best burger spots! The waitress was super friendly & helpful while picking the order! Atmosphere is just right for a drunken binge of hungover food 🙂 Great service at reasonable prices!View more

We arrived in town late Sunday night & were craving chicken wings. We decided to order pickup through skip & boy were we not disappointed! We got the salt & pepper wings, which were large & meaty, perfectly seasoned & crispy to perfection. We also ordered a Mr. Personality burger, which was super tasty, juicy, & lightly pink in the middle, the way a good quality patty should be cooked. Hostess had our food ready & greeted us with a friendly smile. Atmosphere in the dining room was relaxed, & we are looking forward to coming back!View more

Went during F1 weekend, so naturally had to wait for table. We opted for bar seats to soak in the Oilers game, & I am so glad we did. The dynamics of this place & two bartenders are a hoot. They were fluent & fun to watch, mixing up some serious beverages. I decided to hydrate with a long island iced tea, which turned into three. Unfortunately, I took zero photos but the burger I consumed was delicious. Not sure of the name, but it had bacon & over easy egg. My partner had double smashed burger with poutine. He loved it & pretty much inhaled it. I will make it a point to return here when in Montreal!View more

I've been a loyal patron of this restaurant for six years now, & every single visit continues to exceed my expectations. My go-to dish is the Royale with cheese, & I can't express enough how incredibly delicious it is. The staff members are consistently warm & welcoming, & the level of service they provide is top-notch. It was my friend & I's first time traveling to Montreal. After a day of walking we said we needed a good burger. Burger Bar as a 10 min walk from our hotel. I really like how Montreal utilizes their old buildings. A lot of restaurants are two floors. We were on the second for Burger Bar & had a window view of the street. The burgers we had were outstanding. I was debating if I wanted to try one of the mac & cheese's on the menu or the Brie cheese & Mushroom burger. I asked our waiter his opinion & he said hands down the brie & mushroom burger. I took this advice & It was truly one of the best burgers I ever had. Lots of options on the menu & a great spot!View more

We tried the Jack Daniel's & the Wild shroom Burger, & both were excellent, but the mushroom one was totally different & must be tried! The Burgers came with the salad & the fries were good! & the portion was perfect too! The staff were so welcoming & nice! I lowkey should have looked twice at the bad reviews because this spot was slow as hell on a Monday night. On top of that, we received our order after 3 other tables who were sat after us. The other tables complained. We did not. They were offered free drinks. We just got "Thank you for dining with us" The only saving grace is that my son said the Bougie Smash burger was delicious. Better than 7th Street Burgers? He said YES. However, DO NOT get the buffalo chicken poutine. The ranch & buffalo sauce & the gravy was too much. The fries themselves were soggy. The ice cream machine was out of order so no milkshakes that night. Also, DO NOT order the lemonade. It was incredibly too too sweet. Downright inedible in my opinion. It is to be determined whether we will be back. An hour for a burger on a Monday night at 630pm is not it. I almost left to go to GyuKaku down the block.View more

Tried this little place on Crescent after the Saint Patrick's Day parade & had a cute little patio. We ordered drinks & they were not bad but seemed like they forgot the alcohol. We ordered food & waited at least 45 minutes & no food came, all other tables on the patio had ordered, got their food & left while we were still waiting. The server was very apologetic but when the food came out the "Chix Dig It" chicken burger was not fully cooked. They quickly made another one & it was pretty good. I am not sure I would actually return to this restaurant because it was really long to wait for the food & it was mediocre at best.View more
