Located in the heart of Plateau Mont Royal, Bun Mam Ninh Kieu offers a large variety of vietnamese dishes.
The Banh Xeo (egg crepe with shrimp & bacon) was crispy & taste delicious when dipped into the fish sauce.
Grilled pork Bum Bao was my fav. The pork was grilled to perfection.
The Bun Bo Hue was ok, but acceptable.

Quaint Vietnamese restaurant off busy St Denis. The place is all about the food. Tried the Bun Mam & Bun Hoi with beef wrapped in betel leaf. The food is on per to any stall Saigon. Great place to try the dishes as it meant to be.

Very Southern Vietnamese dishes. Specifically the Bún Mấm. This is the Ba Xuyên, Bạc Liêu, Cà Mau style (Bún nước lèo). Not Sai Gòn style bún Mấm. It is lighter fermented fish soup with slightly under cooked bigger size rice noodles. It is very interesting dish. You should give it a try. All other dishes that we had, were good too. The owner's mother tried all dishes before they put in the menu. Very home cooking

Not your mediocre Vietnamese food. This place has very authentic Vietnamese dishes. Got Bun Mam, Bun Cha Ca & Com Tam & they all tasted great.

Such a wide variety 0f Vietnamese dishes. Really a great place if you want to venture out of the usual grillades, pho & Bahn Mi. Really worth a try. Also very good. I've been out of the restaurant for almost an hour & I'm still thinking about how great a meal I had

+++ Excellent selection of pho, bahn mi, & other Vietnamese dishes. +++ Friendly & attentive service. +++ Rapid cooking process. --- Uneven pricing. This place plays the hand it's been dealt with confidence & bravado. Looking like an unassuming corner-shop on the outside, the interior reveals a tastefully decorated little place & a staff that always bears a sunny disposition. Stick to the classics to guarantee a tasty meal at a fair price.

As a Vietnamese, I always seek out Viet food wherever I go. We came across this little restaurant after having some mediocre Portuguese chicken from a famous place nearby & were surprised by how good it was. I was so happy to finally see some authentic Viet dishes such as canh bun, bun oc, goi oc, etc. Would definitely come back!
