Very friendly service, great food, but more importantly, they had some lovely gluten-free lunch options after walking quite a time looking for something to eat.

J'ai acheté un café dans ce restaurant pour manger avec le lunch que j'avais apporté de chez moi, mais le serveur est venu me dire que je ne pouvais pas manger mon lunch là même si j'avais acheté un café. & le gars ne m'a même pas laissé finir mon lunch.

Stopped here randomly for lunch. Had the Poutine viande fumé. Generous portion & good tasting food.

Food seems really good! Price are reasonable. They serve to your table. Very polite waiters. Spacious place. You can buy different type dried of coffee/ tea or honey, jam, or some dishes or mugs. Alcohol can also be served here; they have some options. They have breakfast, brunch, snd lunch! I had my brunch( two eggs+ potato+ fruits) at 3 pm! Do not worry to order breakfast items in the afternoon

Interesting place in great area of Montreal. They serve lovely food, perfect for lunch. Service could be improved with polite words & occasional smiles. This would improve the atmosphere of the place as well.

Beware of pickpockets in this cafe. I went there to have lunch while visiting a colleague at HEC. While waiting for our order my wallet was stolen from my bag. I reported the incident to the police but then saw my credit cards were used at a drugstore nearby. So I went there & was able to get camera footage & the picture of the person who had my card. I went back to Brulerie to make sure they know what happened & ask them for their footage in case someone there knew the person. The manager wasn't there so the staff called him & after explaining what happened he told me to shut up & go (paraphrasing here). I came again the following day with the same colleague who is their loyal customer & regularly brings students & other professors there & the manager refused to talk to us instead asking the staff to get our details & saying he'd call back. He never did & the staff informed us he typically behaved like this & that they actually had several photos of pickpockets behind the counter, so it's endemic in this place. The manager clearly doesn't care about this & this cowardly behaviour is suspicious. At the very least I would expect an apology. The case is now with the police & the manager Vincent Morais is being reported to consumer protection authorities as he should not run a people facing business. Please watch your belongings there. Bloody Mary was not that good either.
