Just the perfectly fried fish n' chips you'd expect. Super texture to the cod & a nutty, crisp texture for the batter. Generous helping of fries. Cherry ale to wash down. Buzzer for order, bus your tray. Youthful staff & diverse patrons. Grateful for the choice among the elegant "high-rise" restaurants around it on McGill.

Sadly, not a taste of home. For some reason the fish batter tastes off (burnt oil) & the chips were more like fries & somehow raw.

The fish & chips was the best I have had in a long time it was delicious & the staff was friendly. It was first time trying Poutine,I love it. My grands enjoyed the shrimp salad & the chicken as well.

Excellent fish & chips. La cuisson du poisson est parfaite. La quantité servie est à l'image des québécois : généreuse ! L'ambiance est cosi. Des petites tables, & deux rangées de tables hautes étroites face à la cuisine. Il y a aussi la possibilité de repas à emporter.

Brit & Chips is my favorite fish & chips place in Montreal. The food is great, I love how crispy the batter is & how soft the fish is. The atmosphere is really casual, & I like sitting on the high bars. I've gone maybe 3-4 times now & have enjoyed it every time.
