Great food with fresh fish, & delicious chips. The quality is consistently good, & it's definitely worth a visit. Just keep in mind that it's a small restaurant, so it can get very busy during peak times. If you don't mind a bit of a wait, the food is well worth it!

I saved this place in Google maps due to their ratings before my trip from Chicago, & I wasn't disappointed. Great food, wonderful young girls that took my order & brought me a box for my leftovers & outside dining area. They had a soccer game on so I appreciate that⚽🏟?. I ordered the fish & chips & upgraded my fries to poutine fries. Stop by if you're near the Notre Dame cathedral which is only less than a 10min walk.

My friend & I ordered fish & chips (cod/morue) from Brit & Chips through Uber Eats on Monday night. Unfortunately, the experience didn't end well. The next morning, we both started having severe stomach cramps & diarrhea, & it's now Wednesday & we're still dealing with the symptoms.

It might be worth checking food handling, storage, or delivery conditions to avoid this happening to others.

Really disappointed because we were looking forward to enjoying the food.

A great experience! Alexa & Nora were incredibly helpful & so accommodating. They were surprisingly considerate with our selections & checked in on us & the kids we had with us.
Fish & chips (cod) was good. Mushy peas surprisingly so.
Highly recommend.

This was our first visit to Brit & Chips but won't be our last. We had lunch on their terrace. The food was delicious & the lovely weather made terrace dining fabulous. We had fish & chips made with cod……..light batter & delicious fish. Our server was Catherine who was extremely personable & attentive. All in all a great experience.

Fish & chip is one of my personnal favorite meal, & Brit & Chips definitly make the best in town! You have to try the maple syrup haddock, it doesn't taste sweet, but it has a very rich flavor! I also recommend the popcorn tandoori shrimps as a starter, absolutly delicious ! Over the summer they have a very cute terrace a few steps away from the heart of the Old Port. As for dessert, their deep fried oreos & apple doughnut are to die for !

Came back after over a year (still amazing food & service), but the haddock has been replaced by sole & still as delicious, but a but different, will take it again!
