About us
Welcome to the BreWskey Taproom, Montreal’s Old Port brewery!
Just four years since the opening of BreWskey pub, the Taproom opened in 2019 as an expansion of the pub, in order to accommodate our ever growing clientele. Above all, it is our passion for brewing that led us to create the new space: we can now brew our own products on site!
It has been a true labour of love, and the result is Old Montreal’s newest hot spot – seating for 100 people, open plan kitchen and brewery running at full steam, and a large outdoor terrace facing the port itself. It has quickly become a crucial destination spot in Old Montreal for lovers of top quality local beer and food.

via LibroI am never disappointed by the food or the beer, we had a fantastic time. I know it was busy, but the only complaint for the group was that service was very slow. We waited a while in between drinks, & had to flag down our waitress many times.

This is a really solid brewpub because they make delicious beers & amazing food. It’s really hard to find a brewery that makes delicious beers & food but brewski knows what they’re doing. They made a specialty burger in 2021 & it was one of the most delicious burgers I’ve ever had, the mac & cheese is also very good. They have two separate menus depending on the entrance you choose. There’s an access to the pub on St. Paul Street & another access from the Li commune. Parking can be challenging in this area. Please refer to our parking recommendations, paid parking lot on De La, commune & street parking on Notre Dame. They usually have really good rotating taps without white variety of beers. Bien noté & proche de mon hôtel j'y vais pour y gouter ma 1e poutine. Alors je ne peux comparer mais pour moi le plat n'était pas top, & la portion excessif pour une personne, très ou même trop garnie de fromage dessus, frites caché dessous.
Écoeuré avec quelques bouchés, j'ai cherché dans l'assiette & fini toutes les frites laissant tout le fromage en trop grande quantité...
& addition trop salé pour ce que c'était.View more

It was best craft beer in Montreal! We did not order any food, so I cannot comment on that, but their beer selection was great! I really liked Amber, coconut, guava, & oatmeal stout. This was the best craft beer I've had during my Montreal/Quebec city tour. Wish I can visit again. Don't forget to order flights to taste all of their amazing beer!View more

My wife & I were wandering around on the grounds by the ferris wheel, & decided we could use a break when we saw this place. It was 11am - close enough!
I had the hazy blonde 10 oz. My wife tried the grapefruit 5 oz, & the Pina colada 5 oz. They were all very drinkable. The Pina colada was very surprising!
We didn't try any food but the service was very quick. I love the logo.View more

Brewskey has two "locations" (in the same building) where you can order food. The pub is on the north side (Rue Saint Paul), & the taproom is on the south side (Rue de la Commune). The beer is the same (along with Messorem, this is the best brewery in Montreal) but the food menu is different.
First visit was to the Pub on a Sunday evening & I ordered the poutine (huge portion, but the fries & meat were a bit cold, so I only ate ~20%) & my wife ordered the Tuna Tataki (great) & Garden's Blessing salad (also great). Pub rating: 4/5.
The next visit was to the Tap Room the following Thursday & the food was better all around (pulled pork sandwich 5/5, salads 5/5) & the beer was equally great. Tap Room rating: 5/5View more

Drinks are good. We were a group of 9. Went to grab 1 DRINK to wait the rain off. If you’re a cocktail drinker it almost feels frowned upon in this place. The bartender with tattoo on his nose litterally told us “we’re a brewery so we’re not trying to promote cocktails as much”. Asked him to put my friends drink on my tab, he put her bill infront of her…he really made it not a fun experience. We had our drink & left.
