We spent more time here than we care to admit, over multiple days😅.
All the beer was phenomenal at the Taproom! Definitely something to offer for everyone. We both did a dégustation (flight) & were not disappointed. Oh, & the spinach artichoke dip was phenomenal.View more
Brewiskey is easily one of the best spots in the city to enjoy a beer, especially if you're looking for a great outdoor patio experience. Located in the beautiful Old Port area, the ambiance is unbeatable. I spent an evening there with friends, & it was just perfect - laid-back, vibrant, & full of character. The street outside adds to the charm, with its historic vibe & lively atmosphere, making the whole experience feel special & relaxed.
The outdoor patio is spacious & well set up, making it a great place to unwind with a cold drink in hand. Whether you're catching up with friends or just enjoying the evening air, Brewiskey offers a chill setting that's hard to match. The beer selection is solid, with a range of options to suit different tastes, & the service was friendly & attentive throughout the night.
While I didn't explore much of the food menu this time, the overall vibe of the place is what truly stood out. It's the kind of spot that makes you want to come back - not just for the drinks, but for the atmosphere & the experience. Highly recommend Brewiskey for a relaxed night out in Old Port.View more
Top notch service & food, fantastic beer with a great variety with knowledgeable & attentive staff.View more
I tried a lemonade. It was good, not too sweet.
My friends liked each beer.View more
Not a sour person but the Mango Madness was delicious & definitely worth a try. Caleb was a great host & educator on the beer culture in Montreal. Cool spot to visit.View more
Great salad & prime rib sandwich, varied selection of beers, very helpful staff, thanks CHLOE for the great serviceView more
AAA tap room experience. A must-stop for beer fans or not. Gets busy at the Old Port but 5 min parking in front can be milked if you keep line of sight to your car. Classic sequence = park + get cans from the Annexe + Jerky Bacon w/ a flight! Enjoy 🍻
(Update Apr 2025) Still epic. Patio opening 🙌View more
Would give more stars if I could! Food was outstanding, especially the beef brisket! Beer selection was great, loved everything we tried. Great atmosphere, had souvenirs available. One of my favorite stops during our trip!View more
One of the best breweries for NE style IPAs that I've visited! The brews are smooth & well balanced, & the food menu is a great complement for beer tasting. Our server was also very knowledgeable & passionate about beer which made for a great conversation.View more
Wanted poutine & beer. But apparently they only serve poutine at the pub side. Not the tap room… sad.
But, really enjoyed their craft beer! A lot of them stood out & the creativity. Love trying new things.
Loved:
Smoothie beer
Smoked beer
Barley beer
Skittles beer
(Sorry cant rmb their actual names. But staff would be able to help u lol )View more
Large & awesome brewery with lots of beer & food options. They also have a distillery on the premises. They offer a lot of seating inside & outside. Popular place for the locals & tourists.View more
Good vibe, good service, good beer! Always love to go try there new brews!View more
A great spot for beers & food. They seem to brew their own offerings on site, & the brand is located over two floors. We actually visited twice whilst in Montreal & we had a great time. The grilled cheese, salmon bites & sour beers were delicious.View more
You will have a plenty of choices for beers & you can drink it in any sits behind the brewery & enjoy it! Lovely Ukrainian bartender served us very politely!View more
I came here to have a tasty drink & hot damn did it deliver. While I may be on my third beer I was compelled to write a review just because everything I drank here tonight was excellent. But the last beer, wowza, the Full Moon, it literally tastes like a liquid version of chocolate cake, & I have no idea how they did it, but they did. Not like a McCains deep & delicious, while good, but more like the kind of chocolate cake that somehow converts from solid to liquid in your mouth. Well done. The atmosphere is also nice. Call it the cherry on top.View more
Great brewery with multiple levels & bars. Great craft beer.View more
Tasty home-brewed beer, very friendly service & great ambience. Worth a put stop while in Montreal.View more
Great weather for a beer in Montreal. Beautiful view & amazing placeView more
Service was great. Staff was very friendly. A ton of beer options & they all tasted great. This was the best grilled cheese I've ever had. Holy cow it was amazing. 😍 Right across the road from all the action of Old Port, this place was easy to find, sit down, & enjoy the Montreal atmosphere.View more
Patio is very nice. The food is pretty good, but the beer is great.View more
After the loooong wait to get served, we were seated after a short wait for lunch, we finally ordered everything at once as we were famished & thirsty after walking for the better part of the morning & early afternoon in the vicinity of Montreal. We ordered beers, 16 oz, my partner 10 oz. I can understand hers being small, but my 16 oz Orange Radler which came in a relatively small glass, not a beer glass did NOT seem/feel 16 oz. I looked through the menu & I see the biggest size is 16 oz, yet 3 guys seating a table over got 3 beers in what they were normal, tall glasses. My chintzy lil glass did not satisfy my thirst that hott day & I would not recommend drinks at this establishment. Food maybe, but definitely not the small drinks they offer for the high, expensive prices. Ohhh, & it seems all their beers are tart. If you like that suit yourself, possibly ONLY during the summer as they wouldn't work as winter/fall drinks. All in all, I wouldn't come back here or recommend it.View more
Good service. We enjoyed a nice beer flight & the server made good recommendations. Beef brisket tacos were a bit dry but decent overall.View more
Escaped the rain to enjoy some beer flights at BreWskey. Service & drinks were great. Many of the beers tasted the same, but I think that's because we ordered similar things (e.g., the three IPAs we got all tasted pretty similar). Space was cramped & a bit stuffy, especially with the humidity from the rain, but we enjoyed this spot nonetheless.View more
Fantastic, recommendable, & definitely repeatable. Great food selection & execution, perfect location, & varied & tasty beer choices. The staff was super nice (particularly one lady who spoke Spanish to us). The only drawback was that the indoors section had only a couple of not impressive fans, so on a hot summer night you just have to cross your fingers & hope that outdoors is windy enoughView more
Some interesting beers all brewed on site. Friendly staff & comfortable seating. Quiet when we were there at about 6pmView more
Highly recommend. Poutine was delicious, probably best that I have had. My husband is a big IPA fan & the beers here were delicious.View more
A beer lovers fantasy. Try lots of different beers. Don't shy away from venturing to fruity flavours. Loved the grape beer.View more
It's a great place for an end-of-the-day drink. The reservation system may be strange - you'll need to wait in line even with a reservation, but the service & the food are amazing. Highly recommended. They had a great live musician, & the beers & the food were superb!View more
