About us
Welcome to the BreWskey Taproom, Montreal’s Old Port brewery!
Just four years since the opening of BreWskey pub, the Taproom opened in 2019 as an expansion of the pub, in order to accommodate our ever growing clientele. Above all, it is our passion for brewing that led us to create the new space: we can now brew our own products on site!
It has been a true labour of love, and the result is Old Montreal’s newest hot spot – seating for 100 people, open plan kitchen and brewery running at full steam, and a large outdoor terrace facing the port itself. It has quickly become a crucial destination spot in Old Montreal for lovers of top quality local beer and food.

Un go-to lorsque je vais sur le vieux port (honnêtement je me rends dans le quartier juste pour ça haha)
J'ai donné un avis sur le pub mais c'est clairement au Taproom que je vais le plus souvent. Un grand choix de bière qui change très régulièrement & me'force' à y retourner souvent haha La nourriture aussi est excellente & le service est A1 👌🏽View more

Wanted poutine & beer. But apparently they only serve poutine at the pub side. Not the tap room… sad.
But, really enjoyed their craft beer! A lot of them stood out & the creativity. Love trying new things.

Sorry, but Taproom does not compare favourably to the original Brewskey Pub, at least tonight. Sat at the bar & was totally ignored by the bartender, even though it was later in the evening & not busy at all. We watched him pour his friend a drink & empty the dishwasher, not even glancing at us for a full five minutes. Finally left to go up to the original Brewskey. Better service & better music.View more

The annexe for the smoked meat, the beer & the merchandise, the Pub with their pub menu & a wide selection of whiskey & their restaurant the Taproom. If you like trying new beers this place is a heavenly! The beers are unique variety of flavors, something for everyone. Try mangi smoothie, chocolate peanut Stout or the marshmallow berry smoothie beer which will blow your mind!! Great NEIPAs & IPAs too. Service is fast & location is the best you can find I. MTL ! old Port! . This is a must try place if you like beers & pub style food.View more

This is a really solid brewpub because they make delicious beers & amazing food. It’s really hard to find a brewery that makes delicious beers & food but brewski knows what they’re doing. They made a specialty burger in 2021 & it was one of the most delicious burgers I’ve ever had, the mac & cheese is also very good. They have two separate menus depending on the entrance you choose. There’s an access to the pub on St. Paul Street & another access from the Li commune. Parking can be challenging in this area. Please refer to our parking recommendations, paid parking lot on De La, commune & street parking on Notre Dame. They usually have really good rotating taps without white variety of beers. Brewskey has two "locations" (in the same building) where you can order food. The pub is on the north side (Rue Saint Paul), & the taproom is on the south side (Rue de la Commune). The beer is the same (along with Messorem, this is the best brewery in Montreal) but the food menu is different.
First visit was to the Pub on a Sunday evening & I ordered the poutine (huge portion, but the fries & meat were a bit cold, so I only ate ~20%) & my wife ordered the Tuna Tataki (great) & Garden's Blessing salad (also great). Pub rating: 4/5.
The next visit was to the Tap Room the following Thursday & the food was better all around (pulled pork sandwich 5/5, salads 5/5) & the beer was equally great. Tap Room rating: 5/5View more

via LibroQuand nous sommes allés, il n'y avait pas une aussi grande variété de bières qu'une fois précédente où nous sommes allés au pub & il y avait moins de sortes qui nous faisaient envie. Le grilled cheese était très bon, mais le bacon tellement épais qu'il venait d'un coup quand on croquait dans le sandwich. Le plat de choux de Bruxelles était plutôt bon, mais la purée ne goûtait pas le fromage de chèvre & certains morceaux de bacon manquaient de cuisson.
