Review Summary

Brasserie Milton comes across in reviews as a warm, welcoming spot with an inviting atmosphere and consistently attentive staff who keep things friendly even when busier nights arrive. The menu gets high marks for breadth and quality, with generous portions at fair prices and a range of dishes that suits different tastes from classic comforts to more adventurous plates. Guests note friendly service, patient bartenders, and careful kitchen execution that makes meals feel thoughtful and well presented. The setting and pace feel relaxed, with a touch of European dining spirit that values time to enjoy the experience. While peak times can bring longer waits and occasional hiccups, the overall experience is described as reliable, enjoyable, and worth returning for dinner or a leisurely lunch, with many dishes highlighted as standouts and a strong emphasis on hospitality.

Ordered the French Onion Soup, Grilled Octopus with Creamy Polenta, & Honeycrisp Apple Tarte Tatin with Ice Cream. The French Onion Soup was a good standard soup that came with delicious warm bread & butter. The Grilled Octopus with Polenta was easily the most photogenic dish on the entire menu (looks amazing), but the overall dish was a tad bit too sour for me (both sea buckthorn & preserved lemon in the dish); however, the polenta was A++, 5/5 very rich & delicious. The Apple Tarte was delicious with a nice slight bitterness to it that went well with the ice cream. The waiter was an absolute gentleman.

While staying at the Delta hotel in Montreal, I came here for lunch on the day I checked in. The staff here was very friendly & helpful. I sat at the bar & when I got there, there was only one other party dining in the restaurant, but by the time I left, there were many more tables sat. They have a full bar, as well as a nice wine selection.

I opted for their onion soup & a Caesar salad & both were very fresh & tasted nice. I did experience one slight issue with the food, but the bartender was quick to handle, so it's not that big of a deal.

Overall, it's a nice place to grab a bite, especially if you're staying in the Delta Hotel.

Endroit chaleureuse. Service absolument impeccable!

Absolutely amazing food & service. One of our best meals ever! Started with the French onion soup that was so rich & flavorful; beyond delicious! Our entrees were lamb shank, steak frites, vegetable risotto & Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The lamb was lick the plate delicious. The steak was so amazing, perfectly cooked medium rare, couldn't stop eating it & the French fries were so tasty. The vegetable risotto was perfect & the Caesar salad with grilled chicken was perfection. The food was beyond amazing but the service was home! Stephen(Stefan(sp?) made us feel at home. He gave wonderful suggestions, spent an amazing amount of time with us & treated us like we were family. Thank you for making our meal one that we will always remember.

Everything we had here was excellent, as was the service. We got the mushroom pizette, which was just right for two to share, & I got the French onion soup, which was superb. The Canadian Riesling & a Castaway were our drinks, & paired well with the food. Well, the wine did anyway. The Castaway was STRONG, with surprisingly subtle flavors & not too sweet.

Will definitely stop here again before we leave just to get some more onion soup!
