Our travel group wanted to have a fine lunch while our ship was docked at Montreal. I had read about Brasserie 701 in my guidebook & in excellent reviews online. We all ordered variations of the fixed lunch menu & all were very pleased with the selections which included, mussels, mushroom gnocchi (no lamb available), fries, appetizer salad & creme brulee. Great atmosphere & service, in addition to the fantastic food. Left extremely satisfied. The only minor drawback was the placement of some of the tables, that left us having to squeeze between other guests to get in & out.View more

The environment was amazing, & the quality of the food was excellent. We ordered the salmon & steak - both were incredibly tender with a perfectly balanced taste. The sauce for the salmon was absolutely heavenly.
I also tried the Coco Fraise mocktail, which was delicious; the coconut flavor was very pronounced, & I really loved it.
We were celebrating our anniversary, & for dessert, we ordered a crème brûlée, which the restaurant kindly offered on the house. It made our experience even more special.
The staff were super kind & helpful. Despite being a busy Saturday night, the food was served quite fast.View more
