This place is amazing!!! I love their food, & everyone there is so kind & helpful. Their piri-piri sauce is the BEST! I just picked some up today. I've eaten at a lot of Portuguese restaurants, & I've never had a piri piri as good as theirs. Highly, highly recommend!!!!View more
I wanted to like this place. Friendly, casual vibe. It seems very popular. One waitress was very nice, even if the other one seemed put out. She was just clearly slammed by the rush. No hard feelings or anything, but unfortunately, her disposition was not counterbalanced by exceptional food. On the contrary, I was disappointed, gastronomically speaking. The croquetas were deep fried dumplings with a liquidy paste inside, the grilled cod was dry & inedibly salty, & the chicken plus ribs combo was chicken plus 2 1/2 small dry ribs. I am usually easy to please with Portuguese grill. Unfortunately, Braseiro missed the mark.View more
1st time here. We live in the area & we wanted something close by Well, we were impressed ! Unpretentious Portuguese eatery with delicious chicken & meats on the charcoal We loved the spicy poutine ! The sandwich bifana was tender & tasty! The mixed meat platter was excellent & full of flavours. Salad is insane too! The Natas for dessert ended up much better than expected & not to miss Definetly going back!View more
Ordered a whole chicken as a take out & it was delicious! I think I now love Portuguese chicken. I will definitely go back for their other dishes.View more
Great local spot for authentic Portuguese dishes...a few blocks up from Little Portugal. The grilled sardines & octopus, salad & steak were all delicious...we will definetely return next trip to Montreal!View more
This is my favorite Portuguese chicken place in Montreal! I also tried the spicy sauce & oh boy it sure does have a unique kick! Their spicy chorizo is a must try. I always bring my visitors here. Also try Super Bock, the best Portuguese beer!View more
Ordered takeout for the very first time & was blown away by how amazing this chicken & the natas were. I had initially read the reviews on here & was worried about the ones claiming that the chicken had no meat on the bones or that there wasn't any sauce etc etc. This was not my experience at all. I decided to give it a go & order despite some of the bad reviews & im happy to say ive discovered my new "go to" portuguese chicken place. Don't skip out on the natas, they taste just like the ones in Portugal!View more
I've tried Portuguese chicken at various restaurants around Montreal, & without a doubt Braseiro has the vey best. The chicken is seasoned to the bone. The portions you get for the price is really large. It's a small place but the service is great & the ambiance is wonderful any night of the week. My only complaint is that they close too early on a Friday or Saturday night.View more
Best Portuguese restaurant! Their hot sauce is unbelievable. I mixed it with mayo & dipped every single fry in it lol I can't wait to go back! 😍View more
Amazing food & service! My go to resto for portuguese food.View more
Genuine Portuguese styled cooking. Chicken, ribs, & fish were awesome. Small place with little bar.View more
Phenomenal Portuguese chicken. The piri piri sauce was perfection & they sell it to-go! The food was so good that I didn't even get a chance to take a photo!View more
Very good little Portuguese restaurant. Nice service, everything tasty & well prepared, although a little oily. I've been going for 10 years & always happy.View more
So good! I was looking for a sit-down place to bring out of town guests for Portuguese chicken & this was perfect! The chicken we had (Quarter white meat) was done perfectly, & all the guests raved about it. The bonus was that the price was excellent & the atmosphere was totally cool. I am adding this to my list of favourite must-try places for visitors.
