Honestly one of the better shawarma plates I've had. I got the mixed plate so I could try both chicken & beef & both were full of flavor. The potatoes were crispy outside & soft inside, especially good with the garlic sauce. Everything on the plate tasted fresh. Would definitely order this again.

Really enjoyed my visit here. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap & it was packed with chicken & fresh toppings. The garlic sauce went perfectly with everything & the wrap was actually pretty filling. Didn't have to wait long for my order either. Really good experience overall.

I just had the simple chicken shawarma pita. Tasty & good value. The potatoes with a garlic sauce was something different & also good.

Grew up loving Lebanese food in Montréal. Brought my gf from Vancouver to show her what I was boasting about all this time. So much flavour, we don't have this in BC I kept telling her. Then I brought her to Boustan on Ste-Catherine on the corner of St-Laurent... Never had food that was more bland in my life! Not one element of the food tasted good! Not the shawarma, not the homous, not the fried potatoes, not even the marinated turnip!
The bottled water had more flavour... Oh, & the hot sauce was actually hot, so that's a positive.

J'ai eu ma coupe gratuite du 17juillet. La nourriture est pas mal du tout au goût. Mais j'ai donné 4 étoiles car j'ai écrasé du sable en mangeant malheureusement & trop peu de sauce dans mon sandwich. Sinon c'est bien.

Get the creation shawarma. It's a nice mix of the meat & vegetables - I never know eggplant in shawarma would be so damn good! We have a few criticisms for this place - there wasn't enough meat in the sandwich, there wasn't enough spicy sauce, & they didn't grill it long enough (half was warm, half was cold). However, since it was only 5 bucks, it's hard not to give such a delicious sandwich 5 stars. Worth a try!

It would be a 5 star if they got the order right every time. Great Lebanese food, it's nearly as good as before Boustan became a chain. Located perfectly in downtown Montreal this place is great for a quick filling delicious meal. A bit on the pricey side considering but worth it flavor wise.

Make sure to get the garlic sauce with your potatoes, it's great!

I ordered the crispy mixed shawarma bowl & it was solid overall. The chicken & beef had good flavor with some crispy bits, the potatoes were filling, & the sauces were generous & creamy. The bowl is definitely meat-&-carb forward, so it can feel a bit heavy, but everything tastes good together once mixed. A reliable choice when you want something filling & comforting.

Newest edit: I came back recently (one or two years later?) for the shiitake faux shawarma wrap. It was hot, full of ingredients & the right amount of sauce. I still don't think they have water in cups but I didn't bother to ask. I'm bringing my rating back to 5 for the food. Didn't take a picture, sorry

So I would have given 5 stars because the first 2 times I had the vegan pita it was incredible but this time it was just bland & the next morning I had food poisoning even though I ate the food right away. I can't say for sure if it's from this because there's a lot of things it could have been but I'm suspicious now after reading other reviews about their food safety. The vegan meat was cold & resulted in the wrap tasting unexciting. they also didn't have cups for a glass of water which makes me wonder, what's their tap water quality like if they don't want to serve it & how does the resto function without clean tap water ? But back to the main issue: why is it such an issue for a fast food place to get paper cups especially when charging so much for food? Even subway has them. I had to eat food while thirsty . The soup was good but generic . For $18 it didn't feel worth it this time especially because I took it to go so I ate on a bench lol . But on the bright side they have wooden spoons & bagasse & paper packaging for the most part so it's pretty eco friendly as a to go snack. If they had heated the vegan meat more I probably would have given 5 stars despite the water issue .. too bad but I have to be honest. The portion of vegan meat also seemed a bit smaller this time
