I'm a generational client of Samos. The sesame seeded bread is really good, chicken empanadas are actually so generous - full of protein & flavour, classic bakery style donuts & pastries. My only complaint is that I wish I could do an uber pick up for a half dozen empanadas lol!
Family owned business since 1957 & is one of the best places I've ever eaten!! The service is amazing & very hospitable, great food from the chef. Overall a great experience & there is so much to try!

We had one of their chocolate pastry & it was really good.
They had beef patty that was really good but too bad it was microwavem
The beef empenda was pretty good, but my son didn't like the black olives in them.
Just like in the Aegean sea, everything you find in this bakery is heavenly. I knew this 50years+ bakery for their well balanced & fluffy donuts, but have discovered their gyros pitas which are quite simply biblical. You will be served with a genuine smile, care & affection. It is a blessing to have this establishment in my neighborhood & strongly recommend it to everyone passing by.
Had two amazing gyros here! Both the steak & pepperoni & chicken gyros were stuffed full of meat & toppings. The pita was also very fresh & chewy. The staff was also super lovely & brought our food out to us to sit outside. Would highly recommend grabbing a bite here & sitting outside to people watch.
Just went today, always delicious giant donuts, apple turnover, amazing sandwich breads, empanadas, Jamaican patties, tiropita, delicious desserts, & prepared meals like lasagna. Went there as kid, went there with my kids since they were small & went today with my adult son.
Lockdowns have killed off so many legendary European food businesses on St Laurent St that were there since the 50-60's, coming to Samos always makes me smile. It's always been there as long as I remember.
Hope to one day take my grandkids there. It will be the 4th generation that they feed.
