The display of rustic pastries in the window anticed us to walk into this bakery for the very first time & with one bite alone, this bakery became the highlight of our day.
We came just in time for a fresh batch of sugar covered donuts. This family-run bakery is famous for their donuts is what we are told.

On the first touch & smell of the donuts, we knew these were the real deal. They are massive, so incredibly soft, & fresh hot. They truly are the perfect enbodiment of pillowy softness.
The wonderful lady even gave us an extra donut on the house after seeing how much we loved it. It was truly fantastic. As we got to chatting, she informed us that these donuts are a family recipe dating back to her great grand-father & it remains unchanged. Perfection in simplicity will always stand the test of time.
I'm a generational client of Samos. The sesame seeded bread is really good, chicken empanadas are actually so generous - full of protein & flavour, classic bakery style donuts & pastries. My only complaint is that I wish I could do an uber pick up for a half dozen empanadas lol!

Just like in the Aegean sea, everything you find in this bakery is heavenly. I knew this 50years+ bakery for their well balanced & fluffy donuts, but have discovered their gyros pitas which are quite simply biblical. You will be served with a genuine smile, care & affection. It is a blessing to have this establishment in my neighborhood & strongly recommend it to everyone passing by.
Just went today, always delicious giant donuts, apple turnover, amazing sandwich breads, empanadas, Jamaican patties, tiropita, delicious desserts, & prepared meals like lasagna. Went there as kid, went there with my kids since they were small & went today with my adult son.
Lockdowns have killed off so many legendary European food businesses on St Laurent St that were there since the 50-60's, coming to Samos always makes me smile. It's always been there as long as I remember.
Hope to one day take my grandkids there. It will be the 4th generation that they feed.

Boulangerie avec beaucoup d'options & des pâtisseries faites frais le jour même. Le staff très sympathique. Bon qualité-prix. J'ai pris des pâtisseries ainsi qu'une part de pizza. La pizza a été dévoré dès que l'avais reçu. La sauce était faite maison & c'était vraiment très bon. Les pâtisseries aussi sont bonnes, j'ai adoré le donut je pense l'un des meilleurs. Je recommande 👍🏻

Mousse is the best! The chocolate donuts are almost just as good & the gingerbread cookies are also amazing! Good prices & good bread. I definitely go whenever I am in the area
Had a quick stop in on our walk ! & to be surprise now my favourite bakery in town! Tula was so kind & sweet , The best meringue, donuts & chicken empanadas!! Will be back for sure thanks for making it so welcoming ☺️
