Continuing with the culinary tour in Montreal… this is a must for a quick bite or a great dessert. I have been here two times already since the bread by itself it's amazing. I also had the chance to try the desserts… the lemon one, totally worth it, my friend loved the chocolate tart & today I ordered the Guava one (it tastes a lot like guava… amazing). There's a Mexican girl attending Marivel, super nice & gives great recommendations.

They are always so nice & kind, from the counter assistants to the manager. The food is amazing & always fresh-I've tried every type of bread & all the pastries & they are all super consistent & delicious . The place has such a welcoming atmosphere! I also love that you hear people speaking Spanish, French, & English all the time-it makes it so much more fun.View more

I still love this place & it's been a five * for five years but I'm reducing the review from five to two because one of the waiters is just a constant pain in the ***
He is constantly messing up orders, today at the opening that waiter didn't open the door & greeted the waiting customers but instead pushed it open, went back & let it fall on us which is just rude even in a non business context.
Then he messed up my order ONCE AGAIN & for once I didn't check & payed double what I ordered & am now left with too many pains au chocolat.
I'm fed up, if you aren't tailored for service just find another job.View more
