This patisserie has potential but lacks consistency. While the heavy use of butter might appeal to some, the pastries & bread are often undercooked, appearing pale with little to no browning. The quality doesn't quite match up to other top patisseries, making it difficult to give a higher rating.
All I can say is WOW. I went here after I saw all the great reviews. I got a chocolate croissant & didn't realize they only accept cash or debit. The owner/worker told me to take the croissant & come back another time if I like it. Amazing service. The croissant was awesome & I'm going back for lunch. A must try if in Montreal.
Inconsistant comme gout & qualité. Oui avec plaisir: les chaussons aux pommes avaient depuis toujours une puree sure & sucree a l intérieur. A ma dernière visite l intérieur a ete remplace par une pate brunatre avec des morceaux de pommes molles . Au travail le monde les as jeté ou délaisser car on était habitués au goût délicieux & irremplaçable de vos chaussons. Les palmiers ces dernières 2-3 semaines la moitié ne sont pas croustillant ni caramélise mais mous & meme la couleur est pale. Pour le café il es toujours aussi délicieux. Merci de votre réponse J espere que cela pourrait aider a comprendre.
These past two months or so the bakeries lost in quality are often undercooked & the apple ones the filling tastes terrible. Used to be compote inside now weird mix. Not sure what happened but it's terrible now. Wont be back after all these years
The pastries were perfect & the coffee was excellent. Everyone there is very polite. It's a delightful place to get an afternoon coffee
Das Sandwich mit gegrilltem Gemüse und Ziegenkäse war unfassbar lecker. Auch die süßen Sachen waren gut. Der Service war sehr nett!
this is the best bakery i went to in montreal! the pastries are so soft & flaky, buttery & delicious. a very high quality place that you can tell puts a lot of love & care into their food. the pumpkin tartelette was a great autumn treat! great coffee too! the ambiance is calm with a nice street view & staff is very friendly & inviting.

Exceptional croissant, chocolatine, pastries, sandwiches, & very proper French baguettes. Cafe is excellent. All this & the staff are lovely & welcoming. Such a gem, Pain d'Épi
