The choco suisse is a true highlight, but don't skip on the chocolate/ almond croissants. & the prices are very, very fair!! Great staff, too. Love it here!!!

The compote in the chausson aux pommes is very disagreeable. I can honestly say it is the most unpleasant that I have ever had. I would also like to see new pasteries on their menu. They occasionally have new tarts & such, but the viennoiseries always stay the same.
However, I am always very satisfied with their loaves of bread & the quality of their laminated dough. They make great bread & croissants.
Best croissants & chocolatine in Montreal & greater Montreal, hands down
Very good. Flaky & buttery croissants, good kouing aman (or however that's spelled 🥲). Not the greatest coffee tho

Love the vibes & the workers are always so friendly! The vegan cake is absolutely to die for, I only wish they had a vegan sandwich for whenever Im looking for something vegan on the savoury side!
Continuing with the culinary tour in Montreal… this is a must for a quick bite or a great dessert. I have been here two times already since the bread by itself it's amazing. I also had the chance to try the desserts… the lemon one, totally worth it, my friend loved the chocolate tart & today I ordered the Guava one (it tastes a lot like guava… amazing). There's a Mexican girl attending Marivel, super nice & gives great recommendations.

They are always so nice & kind, from the counter assistants to the manager. The food is amazing & always fresh-I've tried every type of bread & all the pastries & they are all super consistent & delicious . The place has such a welcoming atmosphere! I also love that you hear people speaking Spanish, French, & English all the time-it makes it so much more fun.
Staff were very friendly even though I didn't speak French. Their Chocolatine, Kouign Amann & Croissant were delicious!! Definitely one of the best pastries I've ever had.

I still love this place & it's been a five * for five years but I'm reducing the review from five to two because one of the waiters is just a constant pain in the ***
He is constantly messing up orders, today at the opening that waiter didn't open the door & greeted the waiting customers but instead pushed it open, went back & let it fall on us which is just rude even in a non business context.
Then he messed up my order ONCE AGAIN & for once I didn't check & payed double what I ordered & am now left with too many pains au chocolat.
I'm fed up, if you aren't tailored for service just find another job.
The pastries are amazing! I tried the chocolate éclairs & the vegan mousse, & both were excellent. The staff are incredibly friendly & welcoming, even during peak hours.
I go fairly regularly, & consistently get great service & great food. Breakfast & lunch options are plentiful & tasty.
