The Boulangerie Ma mie est chaude was initially an idea that germinated in the minds of two passionate work colleagues. Laurent Meyer, a baker from Alsace, and Francis Lorrain, a baker with a background in pastry making. After 3 years of working together, they decided to create their own bakery-pastry shop.
The mission of the bakery is to offer to the inhabitants and businesses of Varennes and its surroundings a whole range of quality artisanal bakery and pastry products. All this to bring to the population a quality of product as well as a service which is not available elsewhere.
Our mission is to offer people the pleasure of tasting good fresh products by respecting the products of season, that it is in our dining room while savouring a coffee or an organic tea, to take away, or even directly at our commercial customers.

J'ai acheté mon pain pour Noël & j'ai été hyper déçu de constater qu'il s'agissait de pains congelés…. Comment je l'ai su? Car la mie à l'intérieur était plus blanche, exactement les mêmes signes quand du pain est congelé puis décongelé… mes amis ont fait la même réflexion

Du bon pain & du bon café. La boulangerie est lumineuse & propre. Le personnel est gentil & souriant. Ça illumine la journée ! 🥰
Ça fait plusieurs fois que j'essaye les produits de la boulangerie depuis le changement de propriétaire & je suis déçu. Les croissants on perdu leur bon goût de beurre, les viennoiseries ne sont plus autant gourmande. Cote pain je ne peux dire car j'en achète que très rarement.
Sans aucun doute la meilleure boulangerie de Varennes ou même de Longueuil. Les produits sont toujours de qualité & frais. Je conseille fortement le croissant au fromage & le pain aux olives, un délice ! Quant aux employées sur place, elles sont toujours courtoises & serviable.
Les meilleurs croissants dans les environs & le pain integral est excellent.
