A Christmas outing with dear friends. First visit & will absolutely return. Of course I brought home a treat or two. Excellent choice of various products & a quality.
Glad the tables are back after a long hiatus during the pandemic - I love see the retired folks people watching with their drinks. No complaints whatsoever about the quality of food here, it's been great since I moved to the neighborhood 9 years ago. That being said, I do have to take off a star because of the most recent generation of employees who just have no skill at taking (& remembering) orders, nor making sandwiches (twice my orders were muffed & I didn't find out until I was already long gone). An experience worth mentioning to highlight my point: a few weeks ago I had the unfortunate experience of watching an elderly lady being gaslighted by a clerk, who suggested repeatedly that the customer had not actually placed the order that *was not ready for her at the prescribed time*. After about 10 minutes of haggling, the clerk found the receipt for the paid order pinned on the bulletin board, yet she offered neither apology to the lady for insinuating that she was senile nor the forgotten order. Pretty shameful behavior from where I'm sitting. Let's hope this is a one-off & the manager keeps his team as good as it has been up until now.
