Bottega specializes in authentic Neapolitan pizza crafted with high-quality ingredients imported directly from Italy. Each pie features a soft, blistered crust prepared in a traditional wood-fired oven designed to deliver an optimal charred finish. The menu highlights classic flavor combinations ranging from margherita to specialized regional recipes that respect time-honored artisanal techniques. Beyond the signature pizzas, the establishment offers a selection of small plates featuring premium cured meats, imported cheeses, and fresh seasonal vegetables. The dining space emphasizes a functional, industrial-inspired aesthetic that prioritizes the communal experience centered around the heat of the central hearth. Patrons engage with a menu that avoids excessive complexity, focusing instead on the precise execution of core Italian culinary staples within a robust, high-traffic environment designed for consistent performance and rapid service delivery.
Bottega is widely celebrated as a premier destination in Montreal for authentic, Neapolitan-style pizza, with many guests praising the quality of the dough and traditional wood-fired cooking methods. The atmosphere is frequently described as warm, cozy, and family-friendly, though some diners note that the space can become quite loud and bustling during peak hours. While the majority of patrons have high praise for the attentive and professional service staff, a minority of experiences highlight inconsistencies in food quality or service interactions. Overall, the establishment is frequently recommended for those seeking a genuine Italian dining experience featuring fresh ingredients, flavorful appetizers like arancini and meatballs, and a well-curated wine selection.
Service was ok but I don't get these places, all you eat is dough! A tiny blob of sauce, a feeble excuse for cheese & a basil leaf torn up in three pieces. That will be 30$ please. The profit margin from selling pizza with nothing on it must be great. Everyone from our group agreed the food tasted fine going down but was problematic the next day on the way out to say it nicely.
Very nice place with friendly staff. The pizza was absolutely amazing, the Margherita was excellent, & the calzone was super tasty. Definitely recommend!

Rude staff with delivery drivers. Waiter pointed at me then said rudely you can stay outside while i bring the order. They think they are a luxury restaurant. Wake up you are junk pizza restaurant in Canada!!!
First visit to Bottega, & it was disappointing. The pizza was one of the worst I've had. Paper-thin, soggy dough, drowned in too much acidic tomato sauce. Calamari were okay, dessert felt like leftover holiday cake. Service was just as bad, forgetful waiter, no water refills, no bread. Won't be coming back. 🤷🏻?♀?
Bottega truly feels like a slice of Italy in Montreal. The gnocchi was light & comforting, & the pizza was outstanding, baked in a traditional Italian wood-fired oven that gives it that unmistakable flavor & texture you can't fake. What made the experience special was the service - the waiter knew the menu in depth, suggested a wine that paired perfectly, & proudly brought over a book written about the restaurant, sharing the family recipes & the history behind the place. You can feel the passion, tradition, & strong management in every detail. A restaurant that offers much more than just a great meal.🇮🇹
First time here & we looooooved it. The pizza & the calzone were spectacular, we had the Margherita pizza & the calzone, & both were incredible. We also tried the arancinis, which were really good.
The only thing I wouldn't really recommend is the arugula salad. It's not bad at all, just nothing special, & I don't think it's worth the price.
But everything else was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing, the place is beautiful, the vibe is super cozy, & it all feels really authentic.
