Mannn I can go for days about how much I love the trini chicken bowl at this place! The people that work there are super nice, I feel like I'm at home when I go there , the only thing that disappoints me is that I live so far :( but whenever I'm around st Henri it's almost a must to stop & grab a bite at bonyard , I highly reccomend it , & try the desserts too , super fire , 10/10
Did a pickup order of several bowls: pulled pork, salmon, & a mini Trini. They were all outstanding! Everything is so fresh & the proteins all have wonderful flavour. At first the salmon was my favorite but then I tried the Trini, the smoky chicken knocked my socks off. The sauces struck the right balance of flavour & creaminess & the sweet potatoes gave everything a sweet foundation. The bowls have a small layer of rice at the bottom, not a whole bunch of filler like many other places. All in all I was very impressed & plan to make this place part of my regular rotation.
Also: I did a pickup order this time but the vibe was cute, so I'm thinking next time I will eat on site.

Solid flavours in this spot of the Sud-Ouest. I had the Trini bowl & I really liked it: good portion, ingredients & solid flavours you don't usually get in bowls in Montreal. I'll definitely order again & try the rest of their options.
We ordered this to go. Super delicious - I had the Asian Style BBQ Pork & I am not sure how I felt about the flavour mix but I thought it was still really good. I think I want to try the salmon or the trini chicken next!
The mac & cheese was DELICIOUS however. Not too creamy but enough crispiness. Definitely definitely will try again!
My family & I tried this restaurant for the first time last night. We had the OG Mac & cheese, Trini chicken bowl, jerk chicken bowl & patatas bravas. Everything was delicious, fresh & generous portions. My son loved the Mac & cheese. The employee was patient explaining all of the menu with enthusiasm. He & the owner were friendly & welcoming.

I crave the O.G Mac & Cheese every single day. Every. Single. Day. I actually had a dream about it the other night, & I was devastated when I woke up without it. There's gotta be crack in that Mac. I've also tried the jerk chicken bowl, & the Trinidad bowl… Mental. This place is 10/10 & I'm so grateful it exists. Service is also top notch.
The chicken trini bowls were to die for, the flavours were spectacular! Same with the jerk chicken. I picked this restaurant seeing that it was rated 4.9 stars & it was definitely worth the hype!!

service was amazing from the time i walked in the door, if you meet mike hes an absolute treat. food was amazing, i got the trini chicken bowl & taste, colour & portion size were all perfect. matched it with a tsingtao in the bottle, i highly highly recommend.
Called & asked to prepare his top 2 for us cuz everything looked good on the menu. He nicely recommended the trini chicken bowl & the french mac & it was yummyyy in my tummy. Good portions ok price. I'd put a liiittle less sauce in both though. Thank you!
Montreal's crown jewel! Best food in town. Lots of character in these bowls. There is nothing quite like it. Accompanied by staff that is passionate about quality food. Highly recommend. The Trini Bowl & Duck Mac & Cheese are my favorites everytime I'm here.

Trini chicken, duck, & mixed vegetable bowls were all distinct in taste & highly satisfying. We also enjoyed the avocado cheesecake dessert & the classic Mac n cheese. There are a handful of small tables inside, & a larger, shaded patio area. The location is in an industrial-type park
Absolutely love this place & cannot wait to go back & try more dishes. The truffle oil & duck confit Mac & cheese is delicious & some how every bite gets better & better. The Trini chicken bowl is full of flavour combinations that make excited for the next bite knowing it'll be slightly different but yet just an excellent as the last. Having some Trinidadian roots, I say this bowl gave me flashbacks to the backyard Soca parties my parents used to have.
Live this place! Our go-to for take out. Always hits the spot! OG Mac & Trini bowl always on point! Big shout out to the staff & ownership team as well! After a small mishap with an Uber Eats order, the owner Derek personally came by to deliver the missing stuff. Thanks!
