I had the butter chicken thali & my friend had the lamb thali. These platters are wonderfully savory & the naan bread was great!
Stomach ache & diarrhea every time my friends & I eat here. Multiple people, different dishes, same problem. The food tastes great & affordable but the aftermath is not pretty.
Ordered: butter chicken, aloo gobi, naan & rice
The food is absolutely incredible, it's tasty & flavorful. I went a couple time for the butter chicken on the lunch menu. The sauce is buttery, not too overpowering & the chicken is tender. The naan is out of this world & so are the samosas. However, I would say the service could be better, we had to go get our server multiple times to order (appetizers, mains, refills) & it always felt like we were bothering her. The food is so good tho I could not give less than 5 stars!
Bombay Mahal is my absolute favorite Indian restaurant in Montreal. They have the most delicious lamb korma & garlic naan!
Bombay Mahal on Jean-Talon never disappoints! We ordered as take-out butter chicken, shrimp korma, naan & chaat papri. The chaat papri looked more like pain puri but was just as good. The naan wasn't puffy but rather condensed like a roti.
Very good Customer Service & Excellent food from veggie pakora to fish pakora to chicken korma to chicken karai ( as per request ) to naan.
A must visit the restaurant to enjoy good indian food.
Bravo
Best indian restaurant ever. I go to Montreal for this restaurant!! We ordered korma & vindaloo & it was perfect combination. vindaloo was spicy & korma was creamy sweet in a good way. Naans were so fresh & crispy. We finished whole dish. BYOW was cherry on top😊
The best Indian Cuisine in Montréal! I always go here everytime I am in Montreal. Price is decent & the food is tasty & delicious.
I would recommend their Buttered chicken, Lamb Biryani & Garlic Naan!
This is hands DOWN the best Indian I've had. Butter chicken & lamb korma are to die for. Flavors are always there, sauce has perfect consistency, naan bread is always fresh. I honestly don't understand any of these bad reviews; I've been ordering there at least twice a month for the past year & I've never had a bad experience.
Killer Butter Chicken!!!! We tried the lamb curry also & it was fantastic. They don't provide rice or naan with the meal so keep that in mind when ordering. We didn't know but had rice at home so made some basmati there. We did order garlic naan to eat with & one was enough for the portion of curry. Seriously though... the butter chicken we think the best we've ever had... wish the portion was a little more but that's us drooling & wanting left overs! Take out was fast, we ordered online & it was ready before the online portal said.
First time trying this spot & it was amazing! Absolutely loved the butter chicken, chicken madrasi, & lamb biryani, all packed with flavours! Also the garlic naan is a must
Good thing first! Their Chicken Samosa is really good compared to any other similar options available in Montreal. We ordered their Chicken Samosa twice through UBER EATS.
BUT their food is below average. The chicken vindaloo curry we tried was watery & felt like water was added later to the curry which dried out of heating.
The garlic naan bread that we ordered was under cooked & felt like raw dough. I had a stomach ache all night after eating that undercooked naan bread.
It was my first time trying indian food & everything we ordered was delicious & flavourful! Nothing was overly spicy so I think everyone can definitely enjoy most of the food here. We got very nice & friendly service. I hope to be back to try their other dishes.
10/10 for the naan

Last night 3 friends & I went to have dinner here. My friends have been going to this place for years & love it, I on the other hand only had Indian food once, 20 years ago & didn't enjoy it, however as of last night, I can now say that I love Indian food. We had the samosas, rice, butter chicken, lamb jalfraisi, chicken dhan saak, aloo gobi & naan bread...every dish was tasty & very flavourful, super yummy! My only complaint is that it was a little too spicy for me but I still managed to eat & enjoy everything. Service was just a little slow but ok. I will definitely go back :)

THE BEST Indian restaurant in Montreal !!!
The food is to die for !!!
We took the naan bread, the baghan barta ( delicious) the butter chicken, the samosas, & the spicy lamb... WOW..WOW..WOW...
My & my girlfriends go there at least once every 2 months & we enjoy ourselves every time.....
The staff is friendly...but the place is BUSY..so if you don't reserve expect to wait 30-45 minutes if you're a big group..you can also bring your own wine or beer .
Enjoy !
