If you're craving Korean food in Montreal, Bol Orange is an absolute must-visit. I recently had the chance to dine here, & I was blown away by both the flavors & the authenticity of the dishes. From the moment we walked in, the cozy atmosphere & the friendly service set the tone for a fantastic dining experience.
We decided to order a few of our favorites to share, & let me tell you - every single bite was worth savoring. First up was the Korean Fried Chicken, & it was everything you'd hope for - crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, & coated with just the right amount of sweet & spicy sauce. It was addictive in the best possible way.
Next, we had the Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cakes). This dish is a staple in Korean cuisine, & Bol Orange did not disappoint. The chewy rice cakes were swimming in a rich, spicy, slightly sweet sauce that had a satisfying kick. It wasn't overwhelmingly spicy, but it definitely had a nice heat that kept you coming back for more.
Finally, we had the Kimchi Stew with Pork - a hearty, flavorful bowl of comfort. The pork was tender & infused with the flavors of the kimchi broth, which had just the right balance of sourness & spice. The tofu & vegetables added extra texture & depth, making every spoonful a treat.
We were so impressed that we finished everything - no leftovers in sight! Every dish felt authentically Korean & thoughtfully prepared. It's rare to find a place outside of Korea that gets the flavors & textures so right, but Bol Orange manages to do it with flair.
If you're looking for a spot in Montreal where you can enjoy a true taste of Korea - from crispy fried chicken to satisfying stews - I can't recommend Bol Orange enough. Just be sure to come hungry, because you'll want to try everything on the menu.View more
Great family-run authentic Korean restaurant. Love their seafood tofu stew & the spicy stir fry chicken. The food is delicious, good portion size, & a good price. Good for casual eating. I've been going here for years & I've always enjoyed my food every time. Definitely recommend if you're around the area & wants some Korean food!View more
We had an amazing meal at this Korean restaurant! We ordered the bibimbap, kimchi, & rice cake skewers, & each dish was bursting with flavor. The bibimbap arrived sizzling hot, loaded with fresh veggies, meat, & a perfectly cooked egg on top. Mixing in the gochujang sauce added a nice depth of spice that brought everything together. The kimchi was tangy, crunchy, & had just the right amount of heat! The rice cake skewers were a delightful surprise, with a chewy texture & a sweet-spicy glaze that made them incredibly addictive. The service was friendly & attentive, making our experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Korean flavors! Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to add!View more
Excellent quality food! The place looks unassuming but the food is top tier, don't be fooled by the low quality menus. The staff doesn't speak much English or French, which just makes it more authentic. Would recommend the pork katsu with cheese & the dolsot bibimbap.View more

my family & i have been to this restaurant countless times & have probably eaten almost everything on the menu, & every single thing is delicious. The food feels pretty authentic & the staff is very nice, they also usually have a tv playing kpop which is always fun to watch while eating. I'd recommend getting the katsu, the ramen, the japchae & the bento box!View more
My partner & I loved the food here! Super filling & we did nor finish & had to box it. Maybe we were hangry & there were a lot of orders but it took half an hour to get our food. But definitely worth the wait. Usually I also like to get japchae & recommend that as well ! They gave us offer & offered kimchi as a sise dish which wasnt fermented for long enough in my opinion.View more
The stir-fried rice cake & barbecued beef short ribs I picked up from the restaurant were absolutely divine! The rice cakes were soft & the beef short ribs were perfectly barbecued. Highly recommend trying them out! 🍚🥩View more
A quaint & nice family-run restaurant with very nice Korean food. The beef ramen is particularly nice. I went here with a friend on a Friday afternoon at about 12:30. The server was very helpful & attentive & the food was very tasty! This place is a bit of a “hole in the wall” & it can be easy to not notice it, but I would highly recommend it!View more
