The service here is amazing! The two workers helped me out when the food option I wanted was out of stock & came up with a delicious poke bowl for me :)
perfect amount of sauce (I DID ask for extra sauce).
Mangoes were a bit green & tasteless (but all mangoes in Canada are like that, especially during winter)
Dining in service was amazing, iced water, utensils, & napkins were all provided.

My biggest critique: I did feel kind of uncomfortable by the imagery used by the store's marketing. It felt stereotypical (the Mexican character) & offensive (the'Hawaiian' mask-thing). As an Indigenous Mexican, this imagery is tired & racist. To the management of the store, please change this. (I included a video of the offending mural).
This place used to be my favourite treat. The vegan bol with the hoisin tofu was so good!!
I don't understand how or why this happened, but they decided to get rid of the cucumber, tomato, & corn, & replaced it with mushrooms & beets… the whole flavour profile is off now. It's very confusing to me. Pretty much all they've had is positive reviews on this bowl, specifically stating how delicious & perfect it was! Why change it?? Are times hard, did ingredients get too expensive? Is this an attempt to make it healthier? What's going on?
I'm being very brave but please note I want to cry about it! This was my favourite meal I've had in this city! 😭😭
If this is an attempt at health, please put it back. Or at least provide another option. I can't be the only one who misses the old bol!

My first visit to Bol de Vie - such a great find! The poke bowl was fresh, healthy, & full of flavor. Portions were generous & everything tasted super fresh. Perfect spot for a quick, nutritious meal while exploring the city!
Vraiment vraiment bon ! Le prix par rapport au goût & à la quantité est très bon je trouve. Nous avons pris un poke bowl classique & un à la pieuvre, & les deux étaient absolument délicieux. On trouvait juste qu'il n'y avait pas assez de riz alors on en a rajouté, mais sinon, vraiment incroyable.
Déjà hâte d'y retourner!!
Tried Bol de Vie for a salmon poke bowl. I really appreciated that they replaced the falafel (which they were out of) with extra avocado. That said, falafel feels like an unusual topping for a poke bowl. There were also strawberries included, which didn't quite blend with the other flavours for me.
As constructive feedback, they have a very diverse menu (sandwiches, smoothie bowls, burrito bowls, etc.) which I didn't get a chance to try, but I'd say poke might not be their strongest offering. I'd be open to going back to explore the rest of their menu!

First time ordering from here, & it was WOW!!! I got the vegan burrito bowl with extra protein. The tofu was incredible, the flavours blew my mind. Perfectly cooked. One of the best bowls of this kind that I've had. Will absolutely order from here again!!!
The grilled saumon is my go to & I can't find any other place in Montreal that offers the same. I like everything about the bowl. The tofu bowl is also really good.
Fresh ingredients & tasty. Lots of choices to pick from, but the best are the beefy in hot bowls & le pieuvre in cold bowls. Generous portions for the price. Must try!
