Service was nice but a bit slow, & place was nowhere near busy. Waitress was super nice & presented us with different cuts of meats explaining a lot of things. Nice touch for a steakhouse. The cool on my steak was as asked, do quite happy with it. They do however add spices after the cooking process so that makes it a tad salty, but I understand the process. If you grill a piece of meat with too many spices on open flames, you will burn the spices & get bitterness. Oysters were fine & fresh, but lots of chipped coral in a bite & some of them were not properly separated from the shell. I must say their roasted potatoes are super nice. Crispy outside, soft inside & well seasoned. All things considered, it is a nice find. Recommended but a bit pricy. Bit then again, all prices everywhere exploded.View more

We tried Caesar salad, Salmon tartare & Calamari, all very tasty We also had - New York strip (great taste, tender, cooked according to request) - Wagyu burger (not the same taste as the Wagyu steak, almost tastes like liver) - Boeuf cochon burger (was very tasty & huge, could barely bite into it lol) - Mashed potatoes great (tasty) - Fries (frozen fries - not a fan. I think for this time of restaurant home cut fries would have added value to the plate) For dessert: - Strawberry cheesecake : awesome - Cookie dough brownie: rich & decadent Price: - all is overpriced today including this restaurant. For 3 people 300$. (This includes 3 cokes & 2 gin tonics) Overall a great experience, would recommend.View more

Dans l'idée de me gâter Triste, mais j'ai été déçu un entre de brie Avec oignons caramélisés Les petits croûtons Avec la texture d'un vieux sac de chip qui a pris l'humidité J'avais le goût d'un bon steak, steak vieilli Mais suite à mon entrée J'avais une certaine crainte J'ai choisi côte levées Poulet croustillant & patates au four garni Servi avec aucune sauce pour accompagner le poulet J'ai demandé une sauce Elle était fraîche , l'assiette était fraîche j'aurais aimé manger chaud . J'ai l'impression que tout est préparé un peu trop longtemps d'avance on réchauffe au micro-ondes peut-être Désolé de ne pas avoir pris des dessertsView more

If you're over 55, never visit this establishment like most Laval restaurants, the noise volume of music & load crowds are intolerable. Couldn't hear a word of conversation, then came the major disappointment expensive, tough steak. I loved everything about this restaurant. The food, drinks, atmosphere, explanation of various meat cuts, presentation, & service were very impressive. The steaks were aged to perfection & were very tender, juicy & flavorful. We didn't feel rushed throughout our meal, & the waitress was very attentive to our every need. I would say areas that need improvement are as follows.The noise levels in the restaurant WERE EXTREME. The music was so loud & add everyone talking in the restaurant to this, made it extremely difficult to converse with friends. We also found that our cooking temperatures for our steaks were not respected, & had to all be sent back to the kitchen. For a high end steak house,this was very surprising. I also was surprised that we ordered a shared surf & steak platter at 220$ & received no vegetables to accompany our meal. Lastly, the drink glasses are very tiny for margaritas, & in three sips your drink is gone. Our meal cost 800$ for 5 pp so if these areas could be remedied, I will certainly return in the future.Thank you!View more

Amazing food!! I ordered the Bavette steak which came with mashed potatoes & asparagus with a mushroom sauce. Best steak I've ever had & everyone at our table was super happy with their food too. Service was great as well & atmosphere exceptional. Thank you for a great evening!
The Boeuf Cochin Steak + Bar was an outstanding restaurant. Staff was respectful & helpful in every way. Ribeyes were one of the best we have ever had. Owner/Manager of the restaurant greeted us, came to the table & asked numerous times if we needed anything. Also had a great conversation with him after the meal. Made our family feel at home. Best steak I've ever had by far !!! I'd recommend the 16oz Ribeye. The atmosphere is pretty cool aswell, it's nice how they show you the steak cuts & give you a short lesson on each cut.View more

My first time eating here & I was not disappointed. The food was excellent. I had the Bison burger & I have no words to express how delicious it was. The service was incredible. Our waitress Sandra was polite, funny, friendly;. always made sure we had everything we needed. The owner was friendly & took the time to come over & say hi. I will be back. I won't trash other restaurants but this is my new favorite steak house. I will not be going anywhere else.View more

La nourriture était décevante. Calmars frit spongieux & panure pas croustillante... la base. Le hamburger était géant mais la viande était sèche donc nous n'avons pas mangé. L'assiette de steak vieilli n'avait rien d'impressionnant, salade césar de dépanneur, frite beaucoup trop salée. En somme, 300$ au poubelle.
via LibroWe came a few times & always had a great time (food/service). Last night, was dissapointed with a few items. The food for the adult meal took really long to arrive. One of the aged steaks we tried & paid more for was not tender (not medium/rare). We told the server but nothing was replaced as per policy stated. At most restos, a free piece of cake is served for the bday person. In this case, the minimum would have been to advise us on the cost before us seeing it on the bill. Besides this charge, the soft drink was charged extra although it was part of the kid's meal. The service could have been improved by apologizing instead of finding an excuse (ice cream given for free for older kid).
via LibroThe restaurant was nice. The server we had had more interest in serving the people who spoke French. My Brie was not melted & she said she would be back to get heated & never came back. By the time she did another server was giving us our food. We had asked for melted butter for our meal. 10min later she came back with balls of butter. I mentioned we asked for melted she the tip me to put it under my steak. Was frustrating & then to hear her complain about serving english people. We stopped asking. Thing is I was still charged for the Brie which I didn't eat, I didn't feel like asking about because I just wanted out. One more thing that she didn't know is that I am bilingual. Understood everything she had to say.
