Manuel Martins, ex owner and Chef of «Le Vintage», is back with a new concept, at a new address. The Boca Iberica is located on Rachel Street, right in the heart of Le Plateau. As soon as you walk in you will be astonished by the modern and trendy look enhanced by soft lounge music, a beautiful bar, and the smell of a cuisine blend of Portuguese and Spanish flavors.
The dishes on the menu are made from a great selection of tasty fresh tapas and an array of fresh fishes. We will be most happy to welcome groups celebrating any events. We also offer gluten-free dishes. Our restaurant stays open late so you can fully benefit of your evening.
During summertime, you can enjoy dining on our beautiful terrace. We recommend reservations at all times in order not to be disappointed!
BOCA Iberica offers a warm and welcoming dining experience with fresh, authentic Portuguese inspired dishes served in a modern neighborhood setting. Reviewers praise crispy cod fritters, light fried calamari, chorizo with hummous, octopus salad, sardines, and a range of seafood dishes including a seafood rice that are flavorful and well executed. We were so busy chatting I forgot to take many pictures of the food but everything was delicious. I had the paella, my wife had the whole fish. We also got the special croquettes. Loved them all.
The food is great, but the place is just a whole vibe. If you drink with Andy he'll show you magic tricks - even if you don't drink with him he'll talk your ear off about the Eagles. FLY EAGLES FLY!

Interesting & carefully considered menu. We loved the croquets (perfect texture), the tripe (tender & tasty), the vegetables, the oysters, & not least the shredded winter squash & almond cake for dessert, which combined beautiful tastes with the texture of grated squash. It has the feel of a small, local restaurant: friendly staff & a great ambience. It will be on our list of places to revisit when we return to Montreal.

We were craving Portuguese food & picked this place on a whim. We are so glad that we did. After spending time in Portugal, we developed a deep love for its polvo, arroz de marisco & pastel de nata. Here, we were able to taste such authentic & delicious renditions. We also loved the white wine from Douro Valley. Our compliments to the chef & staff! It was definitely one of our favorite dining experiences in Montreal. Obrigada!
I'm a vegan & they accommodated me which i respect not to many do it unless your in a vegan resturant but I was the only vegan out of the group amazing
